Primrose School of West Des Moines

Where do I begin?! We were back and forth between Primrose and a Montessori school. Both looked good on paper. But man, the entire staff at Primrose is TOP notch which is ultimately what sold us. Their attention to detail and positive energy has created such a nurturing environment. I genuinely believe they are invested in my child’s development vs just another dollar sign. They have a very high accreditation score by Cognia, so they definitely have strong educational and operational standards! Also, my kid loves their shaded firetruck playground especially since the building is next to an actual fire station. They also have a privacy fence facing the busy street which makes me feel safe and the kids have more seclusion.

We love Primrose schools of West des moines. The staff is super friendly and my daughter loves her classroom teachers. The teachers also adore the kids and make sure to attend every kid based on their needs. Feels very safe and family oriented.

As a grandparent, I couldn't be more pleased with my grandson's experience at Primrose School of West Des Moines. It's clear to me that the nurturing environment at this school has played a significant role in shaping his growth, especially when it comes to his social-emotional development. He is becoming increasingly focused on caring for others and advocating for both himself and those around him—a skill that I know will serve him well in the future. I absolutely love how the preschool program is structured. It offers ample time for exploration, especially when it comes to engaging with units about earth and nature. This slower pace allows my grandson to really absorb what he's learning and dive deep into topics that spark his curiosity. It's a joy to watch him embrace these subjects without feeling rushed. The teachers at Primrose are incredible. They are not only dedicated and compassionate but also encourage my grandson to ask questions and seek knowledge. It's wonderful to see how they are fostering his journey to becoming a "life-long learner." Knowing that he is in such capable hands makes me so grateful for this school and its commitment to nurturing every child's potential.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Primrose of West Des Moines. The teachers and directors are patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about helping children grow. From the moment we first toured we have felt right at home and completely confident that our childs needs are being taken care of. I highly recommend Primrose of West Des Moines and wouldn't take my daughter anywhere else!

We were drawn to the idea of a established program and adherence to a curriculum starting at a young age! Our child is thriving though social engagement, sensory activities, and routine. The staff is welcoming and we appreciate the transparent communication we get throughout the day. We've loved our experience!
