Ready, Set, Grow Home Daycare

My daughter has been at this location since she was 8 months old, and now she is 3! There was lot of fear and anxiety for first-time parents to part with a young baby, but ever since day one, Amanda and her team helped relieve that anxiety by taking great care of her. When my daughter was two I briefly moved her to a different place for language learning purpose, and that was when I know how great of a teacher-student ratio this place has! Most places have 1:6 or even 1:12, but Amanda keeps a great ratio of 1:3 here, so I am confident that every kid will get a ton of attention. I ended up returning here after one month. I also love this place because the variety of activities is so rich - art crafts (extra fancy during Mother’s and Father’s Day), pool play, frequent day trips to parks and libraries, and even special holiday events - they really make the experience extremely enriching. Also, they serve fresh, homemade meals (breakfast + lunch) plus snack. Not sure if that’s why my daughter is such a good eater. Other places often offer pre-packaged snacks with meager portions. My daughter has made many friends here. Additionally, she is super social, caring, and energetic. I believe this great environment contributed a lot. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The most important thing to me is that our 1.5yo daughter loves attending! Every morning she's eager to get her shoes on and waits at the door for us to get going. My heart feels safe leaving her with staff as she falls out of my arms and into theirs. She closes the door on me and says, "Bye!" The teachers are communicative and show genuine enthusiasm for all the kids. We appreciate the daily updates about all of her activities concerning play, naps, food, etc! It's also great that fun & educational field trips to libraries, zoos, and playgrounds are regularly occurring. Our daughter greets us at the end of the day with a smile and often a fun craft that she worked on with staff throughout the day. It's a safe environment, with engaging activities... highly recommended!

We were so nervous to start our 3 month old at daycare, but Amanda made the transition so great. Now over 1 year later, our daughter runs to the door at drop off and is always so happy when we pick her up. She talks about going back to Amanda’s on the weekend. I’m not sure if we love the day care more or if our daughter does. We highly recommend ready, set, grow daycare

If you are seeking day care, you should choose Ready,Set,Grow. Our almost 4-year-old son has been attending since he was 1. Amanda and her staff genuinely care for all the children. While touring other day cares we noticed screen time was allowed during the day. That is not something we wanted. We love that Ready,Set,Grow involves the children in various activities/crafts such as painting, sensory play,out door activities etc. throughout the day. The older kids also get to go out to the park, zoo, and library during the week. Our son is learning Spanish at home, we are impressed by the amount of English he has learned at day care.

We love this daycare and really trust the care provided! Updates during the day give peace of mind to parents and the kids are always having a great time with fun activities planned. It’s also in a convenient San Jose location. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a reliable daycare!
