Recess Time - Spokane Valley

A total lifesaver for parents. The owner is amazing—so kind, patient, and clearly loves what she does. You can tell she genuinely cares about the kids, and it shows in how comfortable and happy they are there. It’s such a relief to have a place you can trust when you need a few hours to get things done. Can’t recommend it enough!

We have been taking our kiddo to Recess Time for years and we all absolutely love Lynn! I appreciate how flexible she has been all these years in accommodating last minute. Definitely recommend!

We called a few days ahead to book space for our child so we could attend an appointment. We filled out all paperwork ahead of time as requested. When we went to drop our child off nobody was there and nobody answered the phone. We waited as long as we could and then just had to leave and it messed up our whole plan. Wish we wouldn’t have made Recess Time part of our plans. Waste of time and made our day more stressful than it already was. Still haven’t had our voicemail returned to explain what happened. Not a reliable place unfortunately, sounded like a great concept.

My son absolutely loves going here. Ms. Lynn is fabulous - I work nights and generally go without sleep to avoid putting my som in daycare but Recess time is an exception. My son asks to go to recess time and always has so much fun. From the beginning we have had the best care - so much fun while having a strong routine - and the flexibility and affordability make it almost too good to be true. We moved across town and one of the major bonuses was the knowledge that we were very close to this day care. HIGHLY recommend!

My son has been going to recess time 3-4 days a week since March and absolutely loves Mrs. Lyn and all his friends. Mrs. Lyn does an excellent job at showing the children love and kindness each day, while genuinely interacting with them. Multiple times a week, I see her down on the floor putting together puzzles with the kids, or doing art projects, or playing games. Her prices are also beyond fair and affordable and you have the ability to save when you purchase a bundle of hours at once. I strongly recommend parents to use Recess Time. You won’t be disappointed and your kids are in good hands.
