Redding Cooperative Pre-School

We moved from the Bay area to Redding and were warmly welcomed into The Redding Co-op family. They say it takes a village and you won't find a better one in Redding! All the parents are invested in the growth and development of the children here and Teacher Jen is the heart and soul of our family. Initially drawn to the play based approach and extensive playground with bike path, sand box, swings, etc. So blessed to have found such a wonderful community to introduce our daughter to her life long adventures in learning!

My siblings and I attended this school in the early 90's and after some encouragement from my parents I decided to try it out with my own family. Redding Co-op preschool has been an amazing experience for my two kids and myself. I LOVE that I get to see first hand how my kids learn and interact with other students and their (awesome) teacher. It's a true "learning through play" environment. Getting to know my children's friends and their parents has also been an enjoyable experience. If you have any interest in being hands on and directly involved with your child's preschool/TK years, this is the place to be! Being a part of my children's early school years has been one of the most rewarding experiences and is already a time I know I will look back on fondly. So happy we made the decision to be part of the Redding Co-op community!

I can’t recommend this school enough! We absolutely LOVE Redding Coop! We first decided to try the school out because I was nervous about sending my daughter off to a full-day, 5 days a week kindergarten when she didn’t even like being away from my husband or me at all. It has been such a great way to ease her in to a school setting (RCP is just 3 days a week from 9-12) while still being able to be with her one of those days when I serve my part at the school. I honestly have as much fun as she does on my “work” days. The school has a beautiful backyard play area that is well shaded by nature and is full of fun activities for the kids. Honestly the shining star of the school though is definitely Teacher Jen! She truly is a gem! The kids adore her and so we (the parents)! I’m constantly telling my husband how happy I am that we signed her up and he agrees. We can’t wait for our baby to get to go there one day too!

A wonderful experience for families and children. We were fortunate enough to have our son’s grandmas volunteer and be a part of their school. We have met great individuals throughout our years here and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Teacher Jenn is fantastic with the kids and families, we wish we could extend the coop until high school graduation.

Such an outstanding preschool for both the students and families. Teacher Jenn is very patient and caring towards all the children. She provides great preparation before kindergarten. We love the long lasting friendships between the families!
