We have never in 5 yrs had a single problem. I love the contracts and expectations the owners have for all families. Very professional & accomodating. I do fostercare and the owners always took my calls for questions and concerns. The staff over 5 yrs was very helpful and educated my girls. They were ready for early 5's program at Swartz Creek. Potty training was team work. Transition from bottles to spoons was also very easy. I just can't say enough about how safe my children feel. RIH Mrs. Peggy.

They lost my son while on the playground, neither attendant even knew he was gone, let alone that he had been left behind.
huge turnover of staff all in one day, with 0 communication going out until I pressed on it personally, which should have been communicated the SAME DAY.
my son has been to daycare before this, and loved it, and he adores his current daycare. somehow this is the ONLY daycare he's been at where after a week, he cried every time we got there, and sprinted to me and was so happy to leave every time I went for pickup.

Zack the owner belittles his employees, doesn’t care about the kids. Ran the Daycare 2 days without running water. Tries to get into contact over reviews and tries to sue if you disagree with him about it. Would not recommend to anyone to work here or take your children here

I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND Honeybear daycare. Let me start by saying my one year old started in the beginning of the year when Peggy still owned it and she was a fantastic and wonderful woman who genuinely cared about her community and the families she helped. Once she passed and her son Zack took over, the ENTIRE PLACE WENT TO HELL. Not only did my sons entire class of teachers quit all on the same day (hmmmm wonder why?) but it's obvious that Zack is going to run his mother's business that she worked so hard for into the ground, because his first plan is to get rid of ALL DHS kids in the program. So if you're already planning on using dhs for your kid to be here, don't even bother because he'll kick you out. The one and only time I EVER talked or communicated with Zack he told me (literally could not believe he said this to me) "I know exactly what you're trying to do here" I said "what does that mean?" HE SAID "I know for a fact your plan is to bring your child in for free daycare and paying the smallest amount possible with zero intentions of paying the full balance" I still to this day cannot believe he said this to a parent of a child that attends his center, parents that he's never once met or talked to, so to be completely disrespected that way and told I have intentions that I absolutely do not was the biggest insult of my life. He also told me if it was up to him, my son would have never been there in the first place. My husband is on disability and we do our absolute best trying to make ends meet for our children. Peggy knew that. Zack is a child himself that I would NEVER trust with the care of my child. Take your money elsewhere, it's better off not in Zacks hands.
EDITED TO ADD: Zack has been reimbursed in full by DHS to cover my sons daycare costs. Not only did he kick him out and continue raking in money for a child that no longer attended the center but he also refuses to pay us back any of the money we paid into my sons tuition while we waited for DHS to approve us. So he got paid twice for my sons tuition, after they told us multiple times that we would get our money back for what we paid in. Like I said, he's only after your money.
Take your kids and RUN.

My son attended honey bear daycare for a few weeks before we ultimately decided to pull him. While it looked great during the tour and initially was okay, my son became very apprehensive and scared to be here. He has been to multiple daycares before and loved them. At this place, he would ball his eyes out every morning and be inconsolable when we picked him up. It got to the point where he wasn’t drinking any of the milk we sent (either he felt scared to drink it or it wasn’t offered) and they had days worth of my milk in their fridge. We had to hassle them to be added to their app for updates only to find out they never send updates and photos except for once per month approximately (and they are general photos, not of your kid specifically). There were days empty on his log and other students’ logs of what they ate, slept, diapers, etc. My son cannot talk and couldn’t obviously tell us what was going on there, but after pulling him and putting him elsewhere he is back to his normal self. My husband called the owner multiple times and got no response as well. Please be cautious if you choose to send your child here.
