Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool

My husband and I absolutely LOVE Richmond Hill Montessori School! My cousin is a behavioral/autism specialist who has intimate knowledge of the inner workings of many facilities and when we moved to Richmond Hill, she told us the ONLY option we should consider was this Montessori school! She was so right! We are always greeted with smiles and are made to feel at home. The communication between parents and teachers/staff is stellar, with daily pictures and messages about how our little one's day is going. My son is a true COVID baby and this facility was the first social learning setting he had been placed in, so needless to say he has needed a little TLC. Richmond Hill Montessori School has been so accommodating and patient, offering helpful tips and suggestions and implementing in-school plans to assist with his transition. He has been able to engage in STEM classes and soccer and is learning so many new concepts! I am so very happy and looking forward to seeing my little one continue to thrive!!

My son attended Richmond Hill Montessori up until this August and now attends the Young Learners program (before and after school). I have never been more pleased with an experience such as the one we have had with the Montessori. My son loved to wake up and go to school each day, and sometimes didn't want to leave! Never had to spend a second worrying because I knew at Richmond Hill Montessori he would be taken care of. The teachers and staff always make you feel comfortable and secure with your childcare. The security is awesome and very reassuring. I recommend Richmond Hill Montessori to everyone I know! It was the best decision we ever made.

I toured this place today, specifically the Toddlers room and I was not impressed. The toddlers room was very dirty. The grey and blue cushion pillows were all stained. I sat on the floor and I notice the carpets were very dirty and the floor there were crumbs next to the gate. I also notice a mirror and it looked like it hasn’t been clean in a while. The assistant teacher said they have a cleaning crew tht comes in, I wonder when will they show up. For being a weekend I expected the classroom to be cleaner due to no students present but I was surprised it was the opposite. I just wanted to get out.

Our toddler and 4 yr old have both recently attended RHMC after switching from another school. I can absolutely say that it has been the best transition we could have hoped for. The teachers are all awesome, and we love that they go out of their way to keep us updated on what's going on at the school. We've never once questioned the level of care that our babies are receiving. We also love the optional extra activities during the school day for our 4 yr old. We just enrolled her for ballet and soccer on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings through the fall. Love it!

Great school to start your child off in. Warm welcome at the front entrance and good security. You are kept informed on everything that takes place there. Teaching program is very good, teachers are highly qualified. My son started out there and he loves it. He was always coming home telling my wife and myself the different things he had learn. That was very important to us since our son is on the artistic spectrum scale. The all staff member knew him personally. I now have a daughter and this is the school she is going to go.
