I can’t say enough great things about Ridge City. It checks all the boxes in terms of environment, its clean, they have lots of great activities for kids, they have great hygiene practices (kids wash hands upon arrival which I really think has attributed to how rarely my kids have gotten sick!) and they have a great curriculum. But where they really shine is their incredible, loving staff. Even the teachers that don’t work in the rooms my kids are in know and love them, share stories with me about their day and their silly antics. Both my kids had Miss Claudia as their teacher when they were babies, and I’ve always felt SO good knowing they were being cared for by someone so warm and kind and loving. She always told me the cutest stories about my kids and I could tell she appreciated their personalities the way I do! Miss Esalia was the other teacher in that room when my daughter was there and she was also so great, clearly loved my daughter and took great care of her! My son’s most recent class was with Miss Aaliyah and Miss Alicia, and they both are absolutely phenomenal as well. They always chatted with us for about 5 minutes at the end of the day about my son’s day, any concerns they had, funny things he did, activities he enjoyed. I can’t emphasize enough how all the teachers at this school Genuinely love what they do. We sadly are leaving this school because it’s 25 minutes from our house, and deciding to leave was one of the hardest decisions because of how loved my kids were. Also need to shout out Miss Sally, Miss Emilee, Miss Gloria, Miss Lorelei, and there are probably others I’m missing, too many people who impacted my kids’ experience to count! We love you Ridge City!!!!!!!

Our experience at Ridge City has been spectacular. We have had children there for over 5 years, through leadership changes and Covid, and the care and culture has remained top notch. I can't say enough good things about the teachers and all staff that care for the children and lead by example. It's tremendously comforting as a parent to know that your child is happy and well cared for when you leave them all day. It's icing on the cake to know your child is being taught good morals and valuable skill sets. Ridge City has provided this to our children and we are forever grateful to the staff there.

I have two kids (one now in Kindergarten) who have been at Ridge City since they were 3 months old. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the love the staff has for the children and how much the kids love their teachers. The classrooms and facilities are always clean and classrooms are full of art and enrichment activities. Another thing I really like is that the kids have responsibilities such as getting their cot ready for nap time and cleaning up their toys before they leave. I am forever grateful to have found Ridge City Preschool and Daycare and for the kids and parents who have become close friends.

We love Ridge City!! My daughter has been attending Ridge city for 3 years now and we could not be happier. She loves her teachers and I appreciate everyone at the center from the aides to the teachers. I love that there are teachers that have been here for years which keeps everything consistent. Everyone is so helpful and caring and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else taking care of my daughter.

The Daycare was okay. Gloria, the main director is very friendly and high energy. It is clean and co located with a church. I write this review after having experience with my sons new daycare and I have to say compared to the new daycare they are lacking. You get an updated sheet of paper everyday that tracks your kids activities but you have to bring it every morning and fill it out when they last ate and went to the bathroom. The new daycare has an app that they update with daily pictures and I can check in throughout the day. They can send me messages easily so I feel like communication is very easy. They are behind in this sense, it’s nice for parents to know a little more about their child’s day. A few times I walked in and noticed the teachers not treating the kids how I would expect them too. One instance a kid that didn’t want to nap was pulled into a hallway and multiple teachers came out to yell at him. They did not give the kid a book or anything to keep him occupied. Another time i came in and a kid was upset and crying and the teacher starting telling the other kids to ignore him. Another instance the teacher had the kids lined up to go outside and a cute and innocent little girl admitted she forgot her water bottle in the classroom and the teacher told her she owed her time which I thought the girl should have been praised for being honest. Those were just a few things I observed in my short time going into the building. I’ve had a lot more time seeing the new daycare interact with the kids and have never once thought they mishandled situations. Point being, not all daycares are the same, I really think this one falls short in a few areas.
