Ridgefield KinderCare

Our family has seen a few different daycare iterations in this space at 35 Copps Hill Road. By far, the current lineup is the best it has been. So many wonderful teachers at Ridgefield KinderCare take time to nurture and foster our children's development. The administration and regional leadership seem to care deeply about supporting the staff and the families and of course the children, as well. This is apparent to us on a daily basis. The extra events and activities - music! soccer! cooking! - offered at the school are also a huge highlight.

I've had the pleasure of teaching music and movement classes at this center since March, and I’ve been continually impressed by the dedication and heart the team brings to their work. The director and assistant director are truly invested in creating an enriching, nurturing environment—not just for the children, but for families and staff as well. They’ve made intentional improvements to the curriculum, placing strong emphasis on early learning and development, while also ensuring that the center is a safe, welcoming place for every child. I’ve seen firsthand how they prioritize connection—with the kids, with families, and with the community. The addition of enrichment programs like mine, along with hands-on life skills such as cooking, reflects their commitment to providing a well-rounded experience. They also value experienced teachers and go out of their way to recognize and celebrate their hard work. It’s clear that Ridgefield KinderCare is more than just a childcare center—it’s a place where children are truly seen, supported, and encouraged to grow in every way.

I cannot express my gratitude of how Kinder-care has been for my daughter. The Directors Mikayla and Sarah are amazing, making sure the daycare runs smoothly. The teachers are amazing and friendly. My daughter’s learning experience with the curriculum shows the hard work the staff put in. Every time she comes home. She say her ABC’s and her numbers. She remembers her nursery rhymes and is excited every time she goes to KinderCare. I will recommend this Daycare to any parent who wants growth in every aspect of their child’s life.

I feel so fortunate to have found such a warm and wonderful daycare at the Ridgefield KinderCare! Enrolling my kids in January was the best decision I could have made for their care. Transitioning to a new school and leaving young ones in another’s care is never easy but the staff at KinderCare made us all feel like family from day one. The staff is fantastic – very attentive, approachable, responsive, genuinely compassionate and treat your children as if they are their own. They are always positive and make us all smile the second we walk through the door. The center is a fun and safe learning environment with cool playgrounds and delicious healthy home cooked meals every day, and truly a loving home away from home for all the kids! I love watching my kids growing and thriving at KinderCare, developing new skills and becoming more confident every day at school. I am so appreciative of everything KinderCare does to support my whole family and I couldn’t ask for a better place for my kids to learn and grow!

KinderCare is wonderful--that could be the end of my review, but I'll keep going! The management and the teachers provide a safe, educational, and fun environment for my son. When it comes to the management, I value their communication with parents, willingness to talk to me about my son's progress, and the inventive activities and experiences they provide for the children. The teachers have all been amazing, and though it's never completely easy to leave him for the day, I am always grateful to know that my son is with people who genuinely care for him, have gotten to know him as a little person, and have helped him continue to blossom. Thank you for all that you do!
