Roots & Wings Community Preschool

We are so thankful to have found Roots and Wings as a preschool for my son after a cross country move this past year. This past year has been wonderful with the teachers and staff at Roots and Wings, they are all so kind and patient! My son has blossomed and been cared for so well. It has been wonderful to see my son learn so much and talk excitedly about his day after coming home from Roots and Wings. We will miss this school as he enters kindergarten in a few months. I cannot say enough great things about this school!!!

Ben loved his 2 years at Roots and Wings. He had some social troubles when he first began, but they were so gentle with him. Following his lead, but helping him grow in his comfort and confidence at school. He has grown so much! They helped grow his curiosity and love for learning new things. I would recommend it! It is not necessarily academic-focused, but it also isn't solely play-based. It is open play as well as structured play that they critique to the interests and needs of the kids, along with doing projects and crafts.

My son recently started attending here and he absolutely loves it. He looks forward to his time at preschool, and a lot of the time, wants to stay longer because he enjoys it so much. We can't say enough good things about this program. When we were looking for a preschool, a good friend of mine with experience in early childhood education encouraged us to look for a preschool program that participates in Oregon Spark. We looked up Roots and Wings and found that they are one of only five programs in Jackson County with a five-star rating (at the time of this review). I recommend Roots and Wings to everyone I know who is looking for a preschool.

Roots and Wings is an amazing play based preschool. The teachers base their weekly curriculum on the interests of the children and what they are observing during play. The teachers are all so kind, caring and truly love what they do. My daughters love going to Roots and Wings. I highly recommend this preschool. It is a hidden gem in our community.

I have been so impressed with this preschool. The teachers pour their heart and soul into each child. I have seen my son blossom in ways that I could only hope for. I recommend this preschool to my friends and family.
