We've been part of the Seattle Learning Center family for two wonderful years with our daughter, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff here is absolutely amazing - they genuinely care about each child and create a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. What really sets this daycare apart is its thoughtful approach to working with siblings and families as a whole. The sense of community here is incredible - it truly feels like an extended family where parents, children, and staff all feel welcome. We loved the frequent events, from a casual ice-cream party in the park to various holidays. Our daughter has thrived here, and we've watched her develop not just intellectually but socially and emotionally as well. The consistency and quality of care over these two years have been outstanding. We wholeheartedly recommend Seattle Learning Center to any family looking for exceptional childcare. It's been such a blessing to have found this special place!

Absolutely love this daycare! We've been with them for two years with our daughter. The teachers are all caring and professional, and extremely attentive to each child. They have a thoughtful approach, not just with our daughter but also with her siblings whenever they tagged along. It's clear they genuinely care about the kids and create a warm, welcoming environment every day. We can't recommend this daycare enough to any family looking for a safe and loving place for their little ones.

SLC is is like a magic preschool. Our two children grew their most cherished memories of childhood here (now 7 and 5), for about 4 years each. They continue to talk about all of these wonderful moments at SLC because the kids were ALL treated with the utmost respect. They were well fed (food made by Mrs. Marissa is incredible). Mrs. Quel always brought her wonderful smiles and laughs with her daily. Mrs. Lily brought structure and intention to how the teachers should help children learn to handle tough situations and responsibilities around the classroom. Mr. Brandon modeled kindness and creative games to the kids on the playground. The kids' well-being came first and learning to be good humans with emotional intelligence was a huge priority. When I thought my daughter was ready for a more structured curriculum, we tried another preschool nearby. And then...we returned to SLC four months later because the caring environment here is far superior. Kids at SLC who misbehave are loved first and then taught how to manage their feelings. So there really wasn't the toxic interactions we experienced at the other preschool (fitted with a beautiful playground and a fancy building). The teachers there, taught the typical preschool stuff but didn't show as much loving care as SLC and there was a lack of attention on emotional intelligence, which clearly showed among the kids. So we left. Fast forward, my kids spent another two years at SLC and then moved once more to a pre-k program just before my daughter went on to Kinder. But looking back, SLC is just our special place where our babies grew into wonderful children, where they made the most special friendships, where the food was amazing, where the small community of families is strong and tight nit. After seeing three different schools, I can tell anyone that nothing compares to SLC. It's the wonderful staff who make it truly one of a kind. And I still keep in touch with them because now they are like family.

Our 2 daughters attended SLC for a year before entering elementary. They loved it there! The staff is wonderful, as were the other families & kids. They still invite our kids to fun field trips :)

Our kids were at SLC for almost 3 years and I am so, so grateful for all the support our kids and our family received from the staff and the community generally. Ms. Lily runs this place really well.. She manages to find great staff, keep staff turnover low, and is great at communication. And perhaps most of all, she truly, deeply cares for our children. Transitioning to Kindergarten has been bittersweet.. on one hand, the kids are ready, but on the other hand, it's hard to leave such a loving place.
