Second Home Childcare

This is so much more than a daycare! With the care of Teresa and Bailey our son flourished; learning numbers, letters, art, music, and all the extras (YOGA was one of our favorites!). They have a great structure and clearly care so much about the kids. Holidays and birthdays are magical for the kids. If I had to choose somewhere - I would choose Second Home Childcare over and over again.

Second Home Childcare has been such a blessing and a comfort to our family. Our daughter has been going there for about a year and a half and we only have good things to say about Teresa and Bailey. They are truly amazing! Finding a safe place for your child to go while you are at work can be difficult. You want to know that your child is safe, cared for and loved. This is the place! From the moment our daughter started going to daycare here I knew she was in the right place. Teresa and Bailey are the most caring, genuine and wonderful caregivers we’ve known. Everyday when I leave for work I know my daughter is safe and cared for and most of all happy! She tells us often how much she loves Teresa and Bailey and that she misses them the second we walk out the door. We feel incredibly lucky to have found such an amazing daycare for our daughter. We will forever be grateful for the time our daughter spends there.

Second home childcare has been the biggest blessing for my daughter. They teach every kid about manners and how to express themselves. My daughter can't wait to go back to "school" every Monday. Teresa and Bailey are such kind and patient teachers and I highly recommend them for your childcare. You child will have something special for you everyday whether it's an art project or a scribbled piece paper that they are so proud to show off.

I did extensive research into finding a wonderful in home daycare for my son, because he’s my only child and I was a stay at home mom until he was 3!! I was so worried about all the horror stories about daycares, and I looked at a lot of places but this one stood out. I went to meet the caretakers and they were both so kind and welcoming and wonderful, my son immediately fell in love with both of them, it’s SO clear how much they love what they do and it shines through all the children there. My son has been there for about a year and a half now and he loves waking up and going to “school” every day, the kids come home with art projects almost every single day, they get a TON of outside play and just so many great experiences that most daycares don’t offer! 10000/10 would recommend, Teresa and Bailey are the best and I can’t thank them enough for the love and care they provide for my son. They have also gone out of there way outside the normal hours to help me when I’ve had my own life struggles which I will never forget and be thankful for always 🖤

We love this place! Our son has been at Second Home now for two years and we couldn’t be happier. He is often so comfortable and content at the end of the day that I have to convince him to leave. The three words that come to mind to describe the feeling here are: kindness, intentionality, and fun. The kids get a wide array of experiences and opportunities for learning every week. And very importantly, we feel supported as parents to partner with Teresa and Bailey to overcome any behavioral or other issues as needed. With a smaller operation there is on occasion need for increased flexibility; overall, however, Second Home has been a dependable and wonderful part of our son’s upbringing and we can’t imagine having him elsewhere (until Kindergarten that is!).
