This review is for Shine In-Home Care. We had previously been attending a traditional daycare with 12+ kids and are so happy to have made the switch to this intimate, Montessori based care led by Miss Chelsea! My daughter is flourishing with the smaller classroom setting and loves spending so much time outdoors. She is so excited when we pull up in the morning and seems so energized when she leaves. I also really appreciate the lunch and snacks they serve. It’s made with the same care and quality I give her at home.

We have absolutely loved our experience with Shine. Our son has learned so much and I thoroughly trust the teachers with his care. Shine is montessori based and it's been lovely to see our son blossom! They spend so much time outdoors which is great for young kids, and between that, the small size overall, and the remarkable teacher-child ratios (3:1 for toddlers), it's a great place during COVID-19! I love the personal feel of Shine and cannot say enough!

Three of my children went to Shine Nurture Center and I can’t overstate how friendly and engaging the staff are! It’s a great place and they truly reperesent a holistic approach to helping young kids develop both developmentally and socially! I absolutely recommend Shine to anyone looking for top notch child care.

All 3 of my kids have attended Shine Nurture Center and I refer all of our doula clients to the Center. Katie McGoron is a heart-centered director, passionate about providing nature-based care to the children while also taking care of her employees. I appreciate her and their care more than words can describe!

I cannot begin to explain how much Shine means to our family. Our 3 kids all currently attend Shine and we could never send our kids anywhere else. Shine values family the way I've never experienced before. They not only pour everything they have into the children, but also the parents. Shine wants to see children and families remain whole and healthy. My husband and I are both younger and our family lives out of town. Shine has become a part of our Cincinnati family and they have journeyed closely alongside of us through the fostering and adopting of our two oldest. The understanding, trauma-informed care, unconditional love, and support they provide ALL of our kids (and my husband and I) is phenomenal. So if you are considering a place to send you child, I wrote a poem to help guide you: Finding care for the littles dearest to my heart during all the time where we have to be apart a place that values them for all that they carry where the unconditional love will never tarry Somewhere that is more than just a daycare where they can wander, explore, breathe the fresh air a place to laugh, or cry, be still, or wild, a safe place to just be a child My kids need teachers who will see their souls holistically who understand their journey and think futuristically who embrace their trauma and continued transition who care about their heart, mind, and nutrition Where should I send these sweet babies of mine? It has to be a place where they are encouraged to Shine!
