Silverleaf Children's Academy

My son has gone to the South location for 2 years & I have nothing but positive things to say. I am constantly in contact with the staff via their app. They send lesson plans, meal plans & photos daily. My son is always happy to be dropped off at daycare and I feel confident that he is academically excelling attending Silverleaf. They are like a second family & I am so grateful for their services.

My 4yr old son went to silverleaf 4th street location for about 8mo. Academically I’ll give this place 5 stars, Ms. Janice works really hard with the kiddos. Staffing wise I can still some of their new employees were not really interested in the job, did not seem motivated and some employees appeared to be high off marajauna at times.

My mom went to pick up my daughter from the location off west wabash. When she entered the room my 10 mo old daughter was laying on the floor flaccid, when my mom went to pick her up she started screaming and crying and mom noticed she was sweaty and obviously had a fever. The daycare tood my mom that she had been laying there for awhile and was just tired, they had not checked her temp or thought to check her at all. When my mom got her home and changed her diaper she saw that the whole left side of my daughters bottom was lobster red and that my daughter had a temp of over 101. She was taken to the hospital to find out she had a bad infection. That was not the only incident we had there, my daughter got hand foot mouth there twice in a month. She fell off of a bench and no one called me, she was bit by another child there on two occasions. The list goes on. I would not recommend this place. I thought since it was on the west side, was all organic and had a wait list that it would be great, I was wrong.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody, the directors are more worried about their check other then the safety of your child. The owners don’t even live in this state and refuse to hear parents concerns. This place is horrible. They can’t control the children, & the staff doesn’t care.
