Skipping Stones Miami Preschool

Two of my children went to Skipping Stones and what a blessing it was. Both of them loved it there! The love, care, and exceptional age appropriate creative learning they received was a foundation that allowed both to excel. Our family has memories etched in our minds of so many fantastic experiences there. Mother's Day was yesterday and inspired my review because it has been quite a few years since my boys attended Skipping Stones but I still hold dear the pictures and projects and gifts that came from their time there.

I have had the privilege of knowing Heathermarie for the past eight years, and I can confidently say that her preschool is a true gem in early childhood education. With her impressive credentials and unwavering commitment to high standards & innovation, she has created an environment where children thrive. She has thoughtfully designed her classrooms and curriculum to foster curiosity, independence, and a love for learning. I've personally gotten to know many of the children that graduated from Skipping Stones and beyond excelling in academics, you can see they have a deep sense of community, kindness, and respect for their environment. I highly recommend Skipping Stones.

We're absolutely delighted with Skipping Stones and the entire community! Our son attended the school from age three and had an incredible time, forming a special bond with Mrs. Karina, whom he affectionately called his best friend. The school's distinctive teaching style, which seamlessly integrates learning with play, is refreshingly unique and remarkably effective. We're so grateful for the experience and highly recommend Skipping Stones to anyone seeking a nurturing and engaging educational environment. 10/10 recommend!

Skipping Stones has been such a very special part of our family. All three of our children have been fortunate to share in the Skipping Stones experience, from their loving and nurturing pre-school to their hands-on and messy fun summer camps. I can’t say enough warm and loving things about Ms. Heathermarie, Ms. Karina, and their wonderful staff. They cared for my children like they were their own treasures as well, always encouraging, always loving, and always educating from the heart. I wish my kids could have stayed there forever. I’m so grateful for the beautiful learning and supportive experiences they shared in our little cottage school.

TL;DR: if you're looking for a sweet school, with a beautiful, natural environment like Bluey's, with real Calypsos as teachers, this is it! Magical! I couldn't ask for a better way to start my kids off in school. Skipping stones has been a great experience, not only for my child, but for me as a mom new to school (compassionate drop offs, for example). The teachers became extended family, they fostered my daughter's individual passions (we got to release a butterfly on the playground!), and helped her become socially and emotionally ready for her next educational endeavor. If you want a place for you kid and your family to feel at home while at "school" this is IT.
