Smart Start Day Care

We are in love with Ms Sonia and her team! I literally cannot brag about them enough. When our daughter was one and a half, we moved to Dutchess County. We were looking for a daycare, but it was extremely challenging to find. I am pretty particular with what I want and I called many many local places every other daycares had issues. Primarily battery operated toys, aggressive discipline practices, not communicative, no structure, not understanding of different children’s developmental needs, not individualize care, and many with violations out of NY state standards. When I first met with Miss Sonia, I fell in love with her. I knew that she was exactly who my daughter needed. I knew we would become family. Her daycare provides structure so the kids are ready for kindergarten, and also fun and creative learning. She originally told me there would be a three month wait and I literally made it work because I knew I wanted my daughter to go there. She has great prices, and includes 2 meals and snacks! Incredible! I have zero regrets about choosing this daycare. I wish I could recommend everyone to her. We are a two mom family, and Ms Sonia never batted an eye. She accepts good people as good people. She and her team are so very caring for my daughter. I cannot even put my gratitude in words. I know my daughter will always look back and appreciate her experience and the connections she’s made along the way. Thank you all!

We absolutely LOVE Smart Start Day Care! We started here when my daughter was 2 years old and she's almost 5 now. I wouldn't want her anywhere else! Our daughter has grown in leaps and bounds. Not only is she more than ready for Kindergarten in the Fall, but she has grown so much more kind, confident, curious, and compassionate under the care of Miss Sonia and her staff. Our daughter's day is full of fun, laughter, and learning and she is always eager to talk about her day on our way home each night. Miss Sonia and her teachers have always treated our daughter like she's one of their own and it is one big, happy family at Smart Start! It has definitely been the best place for her these past few years and we cannot say enough great things about it!

We came to smart start after our long time daycare retired. I wanted another at home daycare and a colleague recommended it. My son started seamlessly and loves the daycare and teachers. Because of the structure and same teachers day in and day out; they have all become a tight knit family. My son will be more than ready to go to Kindergarten but is very sad his time at smart start will be over. You couldn’t ask for a better daycare.

Both of my children have gone to Smart Start Day Care. My daughter recently moved on and began kindergarten, and I couldn’t have asked for her to be more ready for the transition. She’s thriving in kindergarten and Smart Start is a big reason why. One of the best decisions we’ve ever made as parents was to leave our previous day care provider and go with Smart Start. My younger son is still with them, and he loves it there. He’s given all the attention he needs, and is learning new things all the time. The staff members are all kind and caring and cooperative. I have no doubt how much they love the kids there! With Smart Start, I’ve always felt like I was leaving my kids with family. I don’t know what more I could hope for than that.

We absolutely love Smart Start Day Care! We knew from the day we walked in it was perfect. Our son and daughter love going each and every day. They have learned so much and to watch them grow has been an amazing journey. Every staff member including the family love our children like their own. That's a quality that is so hard to find. Our newest addition will be joining them soon and we feel at ease knowing what great hands he will be in. ❤
