Smurfs Time Child Care

We were moving to the area and I found Smurf's time accidentally, as I spotted the sign by the road while driving by Pennsylvania Avenue. So I called and I could tell from the genuine warmth in Asmaa's voice during that phone conversation with her, that Smurf's time was going to be an excellent place for my 2 and half year old daughter. After being there 6 months, I can assure you that Smurf's time is an excellent Daycare center. If you care about a place in the Lansing area where your child will feel at home and have a second family, Smurf's Time is your best bet. It is mostly family-operated. They don't just love the kids, they educate them: they operate a Montessori-based learning; story time, weekly themes on various educational subjects like letters of the alphabet, seasons of the year, etc. And my daughter loves the art projects that she gets to do every day, so much that she doesn't want to leave when we come to pick her up from the center. They feed the kids good nutritious food too. My daughter looks forward to going to "school" everyday. Isn't that amazing?

son has been attending this daycare for about a year now, and I can honestly say it has been nothing but an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and truly dedicated to the well-being and growth of every child. I’ve seen firsthand how much effort they put into not just caring for the kids, but also teaching them and helping them develop socially and emotionally. It’s clear that they genuinely love what they do!

I am always happy to leave my daughter in Smurf time daycare and know that I can leave with peace of mind ,knowing that she is in a safe place that I can trust. They are very good with children, they give her many interactive activities and they learn a lot. My daughter has grown up with her. I definitely recommend them.

Our son absolutely loves going to Smurf Time every day! He has been there for more than 14 mos. The teachers, especially the director Asmaa, are vary caring, attentive, and truly invested in the children's growth and happiness. The play programs are engaging and well-structured, providing a perfect balance of learning and fun. We’re also impressed with the quality of the food—they provide nutritious meals that our child enjoys. It’s been a wonderful experience, and we’re so grateful to have found such a nurturing environment for our little one. Highly recommend!

Smurfs time is amazing! I had two children who went to smurfs time and they loved the activities that they got to do every day! My daughter still goes and talks about her friends and Mrs. Asmaa everyday. Although my son no longer goes, Asmaa asks me about him to check in and see how he's doing. I would definitely recommend smurfs time to parents looking for good, affordable, and quality care!
