Sonshine Learning Center - Covington

We’ve been at SLC Covington now for about 6 months are we are very pleased with how things are going for our two little ones. My older one has been in three different daycares since she was a baby and I can say that this is the best one so far. The teachers are caring and experienced. The admin/teachers communicate effectively with the us (through app, in person, emails, newsletters etc). I love that they incorporate lots of fun and learning activities. I can tell my older one is absolutely having a blast there each day. The facility is clean and modern. I was initially worried about having to prepare and pack their lunches but it’s actually not that bad and it has helped me become more involved as a parent in my children’s diet and overall nutrition. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Great teachers. You can really tell that the teachers care about the kids. Teachers that don't even have my daughter in their class know her and they know who her parents are. Small classes allow for a lot of personal attention. We have been through 3 other daycares- due to moving, and this one is the best by far. If you are looking for a quality daycare you should enroll at Sonshine Learning Center! Experienced teachers, clean environment, and great facilities.

SLC has been wonderful! I was super happy when a spot was available for my son. Everyone has been super nice and helpful. The facility always looks clean and tidy. Ms. Shelley has been great with him and helping us potty train our son. Our 2 1/2 year old son loves being there and compared to some of the other daycares he has been at, he doesn't cry or cling on to me when I drop him off in the mornings. He walks right into his class and is excited to see what they will be doing each day.

After searching Covington for a preschool, I was so happy to find Sunshine Learning Center's Covington location. SLC is clean, safe, modern and has fantastic teachers. Big kudos to the staff on their communication with parents, someone is always in touch within the same day. I cannot sing enough praises about my kids teacher, Ms. Miyuki. She is kind, smart, really cares about the kids, and is an amazing and effective teacher. My kid has made very quick progress in reading and writing with Ms. Miyuki's help. My kids manners have improved as well! I really appreciate all of the thought she puts into her lessons. A big plus is the app they use to communicate with parents throughout the day. Pictures of my kid and their progress is shared in a secured app so I can see what she is working on or doing that day. I highly recommend this preschool.
