I signed my daughter up last year. I wanted her to learn social skills, make friends and learn to be in a classroom setting. From the day we took our walk in tour I knew it was the right place. My daughter was with us when we took the tour she ran right up to her soon to be teacher and gave her a hug. At first she was still in pull ups but with their help she was more confident using the potty.
I love the KinderCare app, I love seeing pictures of what she is doing throughout the day and I love learning about what they learn that day. All the staff is so friendly and so nice and care so much about all of the children. Everything is so clean and now with Covid concerns they take cleaning and safety to a new level which I love and which made my decision to keep my child in their care.
I definitely recommend KinderCare at south coast for your childcare needs. You and your children will love it.

My son has been attending South Coast KinderCare since he was 3 months old (he is now 2 years old). From the beginning, administrators and teachers were so welcoming and patient with us (first time parents of a child with medical needs). Everyone makes an effort to know my child and my family. My son is genuinely happy to be there, so much so he sometimes doesn't want to go home! They do lots of fun activities with the kids and they take safety really seriously. I give South Coast KinderCare my highest recommendation!

I do not recommend this place. The teachers are fake and hypocrites. Be careful leaving your babies there. I witnessed an incident in the 2year old room. I was dropping my son off around 10:30am. The kids were outside during playtime and one was inside trying to go potty and the teacher was screaming at him horribly and ripping his pants off so he can go. I marched in there and screamed at her telling her not to do that. She was quiet and shocked because she had been caught. I told the director about it and she just said “she’s been under a lot of stress because her father recently passed away” I was in disbelief if you don’t like kids or can’t handle stress then don’t work with kids. Either way this place and ALL daycares are horrible. My son was always filthy and had bugers all over his face and all the other kids too when I would pick him up.

My daughter is in the kindergarten room with Mr. Susan and she loves it. She is always learning new things and sharing all of her wonderful experiences when she comes home. Ms. Susan is kind and loving to D and I couldn't thank her enough for all her attentiveness. I had a hard time letting my D go but Ms. Susan is so great and reassuring. Ms. Susie, Ms. Marcella, Ms.Kate, Ms. Coral you all are amazing as well. Thank you for your great greetings before and after school. Thank you for making my D be apart of your amazing school. D couldn't be more lucky to be there.

My husband and I toured many daycare/preschool centers before my co-worker told us about South Coast KinderCare. We did our tour in June and we really like the place. Ms. Lynn was able to answer all our questions and address our concerns. We started our son in July 2018 in Ms. Angie’s class for the summer program and then he was moved to Ms. Susie’s class in Sept. This review is for Pre-K class.
Pros:
- Clean and organized; my son haven’t come home sick or anything.
- Amazing curriculum that is structured and geared towards educating and preparing the children.
- In front of each classroom, they have bulletin/poster of what they did each day which is very informative for the parents.
- The teacher provides progress reports of your child, which are very thorough as they let you know where your child is with respect to others his/her age. And if there any concern that need to be addressed.
- Majority of the teachers have been teaching here for years (10+ years) which say a lot about the center.
- Just love how all the staffs are very friendly, professional, and personable.
- And much more…
Cons:
- Secured drop off zone/limited parking. To me, it’s not a big deal but to some it is. They located on a major street and shared a parking lot with Woodside Village apartment between the hours of 6am to 6pm. My husband and his brother drop K off in the morning on their way to work, so one would take K in and the other would stay in the car. I picked K up between 5pm to 6pm, sometime there’s no parking but I just wait around for 5-10 min and I’ll get a spot. Most parents are in and out within 10 min, so no big deal.
All the staffs here are amazing! I want to say thank you to Ms. Angie, Ms. Susie, Ms. Marcella, Ms. Kate, Ms. Coral, Ms. Kathy, Ms. Lynn, and Ms. Candace for making K’s first school experiences a positive one and he have grown so much since he started. We will be taking our youngest one here in Dec when he turn 2.
