We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Southglenn Montessori Preschool! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this school is a special place. The teacher, Ms. Jean, and her Teaching Assistants are a true gems—so caring, nurturing, and dedicated to creating a safe and positive environment for the kids. It's evident that Ms.Jean genuinely loves what she does, and that love shines through in everything she does for the kids. Our child has thrived under Ms. Jean's teaching!! She takes the time to get to know each child individually, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and encouraged every single day. Whether it's helping with a new skill or comforting a little one who's feeling upset, she always knows just what to do. The preschool itself is warm, welcoming, and well-organized, with an engaging curriculum that fosters both learning and fun. We absolutely love how much our child is going outside in Ms. Jean's wonderful backyard space too. We’ve seen such growth in our child’s confidence, social skills, and creativity since starting here. We have already signed up our second child to attend Soughtglenn Montessori Preschool in 2026! We are beyond grateful for the positive impact this preschool and its incredible teachers have had on our child’s early education. We wholeheartedly recommend Southglenn Montessori Preschool to any parent looking for a loving, nurturing, and safe environment for their little one to learn and grow!

We have been coming to the Sunday music classes for several years now, as well as other events such as the community parades organized by Jean and occasional drop ins. Our little daughter LOVES these events, it is a safe place where she feels incredibly free to express herself, and is fully taken in by the joy of music, dance and ...music thingies (musical frogs, tambourines, kazoos, 10 other fun things integrated with particular songs). Jean is kind, perceptive and wise in the way of little ones. We've gotten some fantastic (solicited) advice for her, it has been quite helpful in our journey figuring out how to navigate life with a toddler. We'd love to have our daughter in her full time program, but we're not really close enough. Still, we find ourselves there several times a month, and we are grateful for the big footprints Jean's school leaves in the community.

Ms. Jean and her team are truly amazing! Their professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail make every interaction a delight. They go above and beyond to create a seamless experience, always addressing questions with care and expertise. Ms. Jean’s exceptional leadership is evident in how much the kids adore her and her team. It’s clear they genuinely care about the children. A testament to their amazing work: my daughter never, ever cries about going to school in the mornings—she genuinely loves being there! Highly recommend!!

I can’t say enough about my experience at Southglen Montessori Preschool. When I began the search for a preschool for my granddaughter when she was 2 years old, I was a bit overwhelmed by the size and closed structure of many of the popular chain preschools in my area (not to mention the cost). I was really wanting a gentle transition for my grand baby to get some smaller scale social interaction with other kids and to have some enriching activities for her to enjoy, without feeling like she was being forced into learning what she wasn’t ready to learn. Miss Jean was exactly the teacher I was searching for. She is kind, very engaged with the children, offers gentle but consistent social interaction guidance and wholesome, creative activities. I loved that she made sure the children got significant outside time to play and soak up the sunshine each day. The food she served was exceptionally healthy and nutritious and my granddaughter often asked me to replicate her recipes at home. She was always compassionate and affirming with any child that had a rough time with drop offs, helping them feel safe and wanted. My granddaughter, who is now in kindergarten, still needs to regularly visit Ms. Jean, because she misses her so much. We been coming to this school for a long time, it’s a true gem! Ms Jean is absolutely amazing with the kids - she has this magic about her plus a true professional who created an environment that fosters creativity, imagination, playfulness, warmth, light, and genuine care! We have a very high energy toddler and Ms Jean knows how to approach and work with every child. Her music classes are so much fun, I bring my friends and colleges and actually most of them inquire about the enrollment. The best way to experience what I am talking about is come to one of the music classes and see for yourself!
