St. Michael Preschool & Infant Care

We have loved every aspect of our daughter's experience at St. Michael from ages 2 - 4. Founder & Director Mary William combines the latest best practice in childcare & early childhood education with a warmhearted family-style approach. Our daughter spent most of her time with Teachers Alejandro & Ceci. Both were exceptional instructors with elite "soft skills" in managing kids in this critical developmental stage. We loved the opportunity to connect with other families at the various social events hosted by the St. Michael team. And the "goldilocks" size. Not too big, not too small. Finally, the programs offered great value for money, especially compared to other day care options on the Peninsula.

I highly recommend Saint Michael’s Preschool. As a parent, I feel completely safe leaving my son in their care. The director, Marry, along with all the staff, are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. My son has made remarkable improvements since attending this preschool. He went from not being able to speak or make eye contact to becoming very outgoing. I’m also impressed by how quickly he has learned his numbers, ABCs, shapes, and even different animals. Additionally, Saint Michael’s Preschool places a strong emphasis on teaching emotional intelligence. My son has developed better social skills and an understanding of his own emotions, which has been invaluable. The staff took the time to get to know my son, ensuring they provided the best support and guidance for his individual needs. The facility is very clean, which is important for my peace of mind. The use of the Brightwheel app for check-ins and daily activity updates is an added convenience, allowing me to stay informed about what my son is doing throughout the day. Overall, Saint Michael’s Preschool has exceeded my expectations and has been a wonderful environment for my son’s growth and development.

I wish I had the words to really capture how much we loved and cherished our time at Saint Michael's! We had both our children enrolled from 8 months to 2.5 years (first born), and 4 moths to 1 year (second born). Our first born left speaking Spanish and being full potty-trained, fully ready for preschool. Everyone tells me how smart our kids are and I attribute this to their 9 hours a day with the wonderful caregivers at Saint Michael's. The director is available way more than she should be... she dedicates 1000% of her heart to the kids enrolled. What a special place we will never forget!

St. Michael's is truly the best Infant and Preschool care provider. During Covid we had our first daughter and needed somewhere for her to receive care at 6 months old. Mary at St. Michael's took us through a virtual tour and explained all their COVID precautions including how the facility was being cleaned and the teachers tested. We loved how responsive and family orientated they are. Our daughter loved their facility and learned so much! Entering Preschool she was definitely advanced for her age group both with numbers and spanish language knowledge. I highly recommend St. Michael's!

We've had a great experience at St. Michael's from the first day on. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness in developing the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of my son - they follow the philosophy of Magda Gerber (or PITC), which focuses on recognizing and respecting the needs of individual children, and promoting learning through play and fun exercises. I feel strongly that my child's strong early development is due in part to how they teach and the excellent environment they create. And my son is always happy and exhausted by the end of the day, which is all a mom could ask for. We love this place!
