St. Thomas More Catholic Preschool

My family and I are incredibly grateful for the St. Thomas More preschool. All three of our children have absolutely loved attending this school, and as parents, we could not be happier with our experience. The Director, Mrs. Bush, is an incredibly nurturing teacher who my daughters adore and stay in touch with as they continue their education. The teachers at St. Thomas More are one-of-a-kind and so special to our family! Mrs. Shaw, the PK3 teacher, is one of the kindest teachers we have ever met; her genuine love for teaching and care for the children is what makes all the difference. STM is a place where kids look forward to going each day, learning, and growing in a community of faith. We can't thank you enough, STM, for all you have given us!

We could not have been happier with our experience in the STM Preschool. Our daughter met new friends, enjoyed the support of caring teachers and school staff, and was very well-prepared for kindergarten. It's a fantastic program and a wonderful component of the St. Thomas More Catholic community.

St. Thomas More preschool is a hidden gem. Coming from one of the finest preschools in New York City, we felt incredibly fortunate to enroll our daughter here. The class sizes are small, and the teachers embrace a child-centric approach to learning through exploration. We like the full-day schedule, which offers the right amount of stimulation and breaks to allow a 3 or 4-year-old to enjoy the day. The teachers care a lot about their kids and engage with the parents thoughtfully. The school educates about faith in a way that is open and welcoming. There are even good ways to meet other parents through different events.

I cannot say enough wonderful things St. Thomas More preschool, the teachers and staff. We came to the school as they were building the new location so experienced preschool in the lower school and now their own space. It’s beautiful and so many amazing things for the kids. The teachers have been there for a long time and treat every child like their own. I was sad when my youngest moved on to Kinder! We miss it there. The best and most nurturing environment.

We love STM! We were at a Montessori school before transitioning to STM. The teachers here are compassionate, dedicated teachers and caregivers. The classrooms are perfectly sized and equipped. The playground is a fun, safe place to explore. The curriculum meets your child where they are. Kids are taught the early-learning PK skills they need and also coached gently through social and interpersonal relationships with a focus on growing into responsible, caring humans.
