Starbright Early Learning Center

When we found this learning center, it seemed like it would be the perfect place for my son Luca to go to as he was at the point where he needed to have extra learning to continue his development coupled with seeing his siblings, heading off to elementary school every day and him staying at home with Mom. There was a couple of months where it was awesome and then all of a sudden we have c.p.s. at our door saying that not only does my son have two black eyes but my wife (who had never even been to the daycare) did also. And as I’m sure you are aware of that is a very serious accusation and when kids are involved also, it’s just despicable. Anyhow. C.P.S. Worker Comes in to check and make sure that the kid and my wife are both OK , understandably. The worker came in and observed my household, and that everyone in it was safe and happy. Laughing that someone would ever say something like that when it was so obviously untrue. They ended up closing the case when they were allowed to and giving us free childcare for a year for the investigation being unfounded. But it doesn’t always happen like that. I will also mention that right before this happened the daycare reached out to us saying that our neurodivergent son was showing signs of bad behavior. When we didn't take him out ourselves we got a surprise call to CPS from the daycare. If I was you I would stay away from this place Dave Peterson.

My child has been going here for the last few years! Their staff is always so great and helpful. The center is always so well kept and organized! Really look forward to the many more years of my child being here!

We absolutely love Starbright. We were nervous after coming from a “mediocre” experience with another care center but Starbright immediately eased our concerns. They are so supportive of your decisions as a parent. Each and every staff member welcomes you everyday as if you are part of the family. The teachers in the rooms are like family, to the point I wish my daughter could continue having the same teacher for her remaining years. I adore them. They helped get our daughter get 100% potty trained. They’ve taught her how to be empathetic and help others. They foster her leader personality and foster her growing appetite to learn letters and numbers. Our daughter just turned 3 and knows 13 letters, can associate them to different words or names, and is even starting to do simple math. I completely believe it’s because of her teachers that she is capable of these things. Thank you Starbright for being phenomenal.

The staff are very friendly and great with our son. I feel very good about having him at Starbright. He’s been enrolled here since he was 4 1/2 months old, and he’s just turned two this month. He loves going to school there and seeing his "friends." The class rooms are set by age, and have specific outcomes for the children in them. Each week has activities and lessons the kids work through from infants to older children. The teachers in the respective classes have always been very welcoming and supportive of each of the children they have. The administrative staff, Jen and Candice, are very knowledgeable about child development and are wonderful with the kids. I recommend Starbright!

Jen and her staff at Starbright provide a wonderful environment that feels like home. I have two young girls that attend her school and this gem of a place is everything I wanted and more for a preschool. At Starbright, you are welcomed with culture and happy children. The aroma of a home cooked meal is always present and comforting. The walls are covered in rotating art from the students. The toys and books in the classroom are also rotated. The carpet is kept clean with indoor shoes and constant care. The education here goes above and beyond what I expected in a preschool. My girls are 3 and 5 and both of them are reading at an early age. I thank Miss Shelley for this. She is a brilliant and loving educator and the time my girls have with her is priceless. There are a million things right about this place and I'm happy for my girls and I to have many memories here. Thank you, Starbright.
