Stepping Stone School - Rock Prairie/S College Station

We have been at Stepping Stone for the past 3 years and are only leaving due to a relocation. The hardest part of our move is leaving behind the wonderful teachers my children have come to love!! The staff is consistent and they are great at communicating with parents. Any small concerns I have had have always been immediately addressed by Shelby. We love the curriculum at Stepping Stone. My child learned sign language before she was talking all thanks to her wonderful teachers. They have an endless amount of activities to keep them entertained, including soccer and baseball classes that come to the school! The teachers are truly top notch and have set the bar to the highest standard. I am SO thankful for the care given at Stepping Stone.

The team at Stepping Stone School - Rock Prarie has always gone above and beyond for our little ones who started in Gigabytes at four months old. They have made every classroom and developmental transition a joyful experience, including our growth as new parents. The communication between the school and parents is exceptional. Our questions and concerns are always taken seriously and answered quickly with care. We’re updated regularly on health risks, upcoming events (classroom holiday parties, weekend festivals, extracurricular sports during the day, school pictures, menu updates, etc.), and our kids’ days through the tadpole app and via email. All staff members are extremely friendly and provide a welcoming environment for both children and parents. The food served is nutritious and varied and the school environment is safe, clean, well maintained, and continuously updated. We also love the weekly curriculum themes and playful learning via reading, arts and crafts, outdoor group activities, and more. Chelsie, Shelby and Emily are outstanding leaders and we are so touched by their love for our children. These school leaders plus the classroom teachers and helpers know each child’s unique talents, strengths and personalities so intimately and whenever possible help customize school day activities plus support us as we learn as new parents. We truly feel like a team, and Emily in particular has become a beloved part of our family. We cannot emphasize enough how much our children love attending Stepping Stone. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do!

My daughter went here for nearly two years from ages 1-3 and it was a great experience. The only reason we’re leaving is because we’re moving. Stepping stone helped develop her vocabulary and social skills. They handle redirection so well, which has really helped with giving her the skills to work through tantrums. Ms. Shelby was always attentive to any concerns or questions we had. Communication was good and all of her teachers were wonderful. There were several fun family activities that the daycare planned & I love that they brought in extracurriculars like soccer, baseball and basketball. We were able to expose our daughter to team sports without having to take time out of our evenings. I cannot say enough good things about this school. We’re sad to be leaving it, but had the best time while our daughter went here ❤️

I needed a daycare after spending entirely too much money on a nanny to come to our house daily for our daughter. I found Stepping Stone by chance from a Google search and I couldn't be happier! Our daughter started going when she was a little over a year old and has been going there for almost 7 years now. Our next two children started when they were 6 weeks old! The staff at Stepping Stone have treated our kids like their own and you can tell they truly love them! Emily Pruneda has a very special way with them and has gone above and beyond with each child in her care. You can tell that this is her passion and she is simply amazing. She is reliable, trustworthy, and extremely patient with all the littles. We honestly love ALL the staff there! Chelsie and Shelby are always so welcoming and our kids love hanging out with them any chance they get. Mr. Isaiah is also a family favorite and our kids just adore him. Mrs. T was amazing with our middle child and made a real connection with her when she was her teacher. Mrs. Melissa and Mrs. Brittany adored our son when he was in their classes. I just can't say enough about Stepping Stone and their amazing staff!

Our kids love it here! We've been taking each our our kids here since they were just babies and we couldn't be happier! Our youngest has a really rough time at drop off in the mornings (separation anxiety) and Emily Pruneda is always there to put a smile back on his face. She does a great job with all the kids and you can really tell she loves each and every one of them. Literally all of the staff at Stepping Stone Rock Prairie are amazing. From Chelsie and Shelby in the front office to Emily, Isaiah, and all the rest of the staff in the rooms with the kiddos. We couldn't be happier!
