Stepping Stones Childcare & Early Learning

We can't say enough good things about Stepping Stones. Our older daughter started there when she was 1 year old in 2023, and our youngest daughter joined her at age 6 months in 2024. Effie and the other teachers are so incredibly wonderful. Our daughters love going to school each day. They have learned so many skills and have blossomed socially since starting the program. Ms. Effie has helped our girls build confidence and make lasting friendships with the other children. The teachers put so much thought into the projects and lessons, and the kids enjoy outside time every day. The staff are flexible and so supportive, and the facility is well-organized and always clean. The mixed age classroom has been fantastic for us. When our oldest child was young, she learned from the big kids and made huge developmental leaps. Now that she is older, she also enjoys helping to include the little ones in play. Our girls love all of the food served at school (thank goodness, because they eat most of their vegetables at school rather than at home). I trust Ms. Effie and her team completely, and we feel that our girls are loved and well-cared for. We love being part of the Stepping Stones family!

We've had a really great experience at Stepping Stones! This was my daughter's first experience going to a school or daycare and she has grown to absolutely love it thanks to the great care she receives there.

Our daughter has attended Stepping Stones for 16 months, until she started Kindergarten. Curriculum was excellent: by the end of the preschool, our daughter learnt to read and recognize numbers up to 100. Lots of freedom was given to her, so she could express her creativity throughout the day. And even more important, we have been impressed by the inclusive environment at Stepping Stones. It's great to see children of different ages respecting each other and playing together: Stepping Stones teachers promote an environment where children learn to respect rules of spending time together and enjoy each other. Our daughter made many friends at Stepping Stones.

As parents, our top priority is ensuring the well-being and development of our children. The transition from home to a school daycare setting can be a significant change for little ones, and I feel it's crucial to find a place where we have trust and confidence in our child's care. After visiting Stepping Stones Childcare & Early Learning and speaking with Mrs. Effie, I decided to enroll my daughter, and she has been attending for a little over a year now. I'm thrilled with the progress she has made academically, personally, socially, and in her communication skills, among other areas. Knowing that my daughter feels safe, secure, comfortable, and empowered to express herself makes me feel reassured. I'm grateful for choosing Stepping Stones and have complete confidence in their ability to provide my daughter with both academic support and a nurturing, fun, safe environment. I want to express my gratitude to the team of teachers who have been instrumental in my daughter's care and development. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated!

We love Stepping Stones! My son has been going to Stepping Stones for almost two years and our experience has been wonderful. He’s really benefitted from the early learning emphasis. The teachers are kind and caring and my son is happy to see them in the mornings at drop off. In fact, he’s so happy to get to school in the morning, that he usually runs in to see his friends (after taking off his shoes!) without even looking over his shoulder. The school has fun seasonal events and my son often comes home with cute projects and work from his lessons (shapes, colors, letters, numbers, etc). The facility itself very clean, organized and super child friendly. It’s set up as a classroom with many different areas for the kids to play and learn. The communication with Ms. Effie about how our son is doing, as well as fun photos and videos are great. I feel like my son is well cared for and loved by his teachers. In short, we have been very happy with our experience and highly recommend Stepping Stones!
