We love Storybrook Academy Flowery Branch!!!! All of the staff is amazing!!! We love it here so much. We are coming from a very terrible daycare called brilliant star that was not providing enough food for the kids, there were rat issues in their kitchen, and the owner at our previous daycare was using objects and striking chairs next to kids due to their behavior. My son was coming home scared to death everyday and was very timid and hated to be dropped off and both my kids were coming home super hungry. There was no security with their doors. We are so grateful storybrook had a spot for both our kids and even some of my son's friends. Definitely an answered prayer for us all!!! We have seen so much improvement in our son and he will be 4 in July. He talks better, has made new friends, loves his teachers, and praises his new school and tells me how much he loves his "new teacher's house". My daughter is also being properly cared for now and not coming home as rashy. Our previous daycare at brilliant star was so bad and I can't even put into words how bad it was but we are so thankful for storybrook. We have not had any of the issues we use to experience and we feel we can trust the staff at StoryBrook with our children and that is a big deal for a mama. I feel so much peace leaving my children at StoryBrook to be cared for so my husband and I can make a living for my family. We have no doubts that our children are so loved here at StoryBrook. My son is actually learning a curriculum and learning to pray and Spanish even. It is so exciting to watch how far he has come from our old daycare since December of 2024. The staff is so nice and always willing to answer questions. We have not had any issues. We also love that in order to get into the center we have key fobs now and they have a finger print scanner to sign kids in and out. It feels very secure and that they put safety first. Their playground area is also very nice and they have a variety of activities to do outside and inside. I've never seen so many educational toys and my son just loves all the different colors of the toys and building blocks. We have had such a great experience so far and we plan to be here for a very very long time. They will probably get to watch my kids grow up and pick them up from school which is bittersweet too. I honestly recommend this daycare facility 1000% and that is saying a lot coming from a very bad daycare experience at our previous center.
Thank you StoryBrook Academy for all you do for our children and our family. You love our children like your own and it's very obvious in watching interactions with them. Your staff is amazing and sweet and we couldn't be happier to be a part of StoryBrook!!! Thankful God lead us to this school. We love they do prayers before they eat because that is a big part of our lives and we love that storybrook can help us incorporate that in our children's lives.

I wish I could leave less than one star for Storybrook. After moving to the area and having my kids in a great daycare I put my kids here and have nothing but regrets. My 4 year old would come home dirty and complained of being hit and bullied but unfortunately he was not my biggest issue during our short time here. My one year old was coming home injured daily. From multiple bites covering his entire body on multiple occasions which should have been my first sign to immediately pull him out. He was constantly extremely dirty. Their changing table in the room was dirty beyond what I had ever seen. They were filling my child's water cup with juice everyday without my consent. He was coming home covered in bruises that were never a problem at home or at his previous daycare. It escalated to a black eye and knots on his head on a few different occasions before I refused to let him go back because this was so abnormal and my son could not speak for himself. I emailed the center and OWNERS to let them know of all of the issues with an album of pictures to show why and how concerned I was for his care while in their facility and never even received a response. I was so lucky to find somewhere else and immediately the injuries stopped on my youngest son. This place needs to be looked into.

My son and daughter both started there when they were 4 months old and constantly had rashes to the point that they would bleed.. i had to take days off from work to care for my child because they didn’t care too. My son was in the 2 year old room and I removed him from that daycare when a teacher left because he started getting hit by other kids (Didn’t have incidents when she was there and moved them for many other reasons). There were 2 times where they didn’t even know it happened and HE told me… a 2 year old. I would constantly complain to them and their answer was “we will roll back the cameras and see what happened” and never a follow up. Sam who is the director there is unprofessional and just sits there and talks all day and “supposedly watches cameras” … I with my own eyes witnessed a teacher scream so loud to a kid and when I reported it to the director she did nothing.. I assume that cause the teacher still works there and she has had multiple complaints. I went to pick up my kids one day and there was a little girl from his class outside by herself!!!!! When I went into the classroom and asked them if they knew that she was outside.. they didn’t!! That’s just a little bit of what I dealt with can’t imagine all the other stories… ohhh I forgot their door doesn’t work sometimes and I could walk right in.. anyway I’m glad I moved them.. my kids are better taken care of with no rashes and I don’t find my son crying every time I pick him up. There is no consistency or communication.

My 2 toddlers have been attending Storybrook Academy for more than a year now. I enrolled them in September of 2016, prior to enrolling them I interviewed 3-4 other schools. Not only was the first phone call to Storybrook pleasant and inviting, but once I entered the building I noticed all of the staff greeting each child in the hallway by name, with attention given to each and every child. They went into the infant room and have now graduated up to the 2 year old room. I absolutely love this school, the school is always clean , the staff is so gracious and kind. As a parent, I entrust my greatest blessing to the staff at Storybrook every day, and I am grateful for the loving care and guidance they receive. The teachers, directors and owners look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. My sons have been blessed with awesome teachers who understand their challenges, and handle them with grace. My boys have learned so much. I am friends with many of the staff members on Facebook and get to see their families grow as they get to be with mine as my children continue to grow. Thank you to the Storybrook child care organization for an incredible early childhood faith based curriculum that engages and teaches at all steps of the day, I would recommend this school to any parent looking for loving care and a school that is faith based. Thank you so much for your responsiveness, attention to detail and support over the past year, anytime I have ever had a concern I brought it to their attention and they have always addressed the concern right then and not swept it under the rug. A special thanks to Ms. Story and Ms. Brooke and her staff; they continue to do amazing works of "heart" with all children.
