We’ve had three child attend SMS since 2019 and couldn’t speak higher of the teachers and staff. There have been so many teachers we’ve come to see more as family because they not only help them grow but thrive.

My son attended for 3-4 months as a 2 year old. We withdrew him quickly, though it was quite difficult to care for him logistically thereafter, because we did not feel he was in a safe environment. He came home with bite marks several times, usually without any mention from the teacher. Once, it was discovered at home, and it had broken skin, so he needed antibiotics for prophylactic treatment. Once, when we mentioned a different bite mark on his wrist the next morning, a teacher said it was not a bite but a product of his scratching his wrist due to the heat. We had clearly seen discrete teeth marks. Our son would cry in the car several times per week saying he did not want to go to Sun Moon Stars, and he's someone who does not have stranger danger and transitions well into new environments. We felt like the student to teacher ratio could have been better. This certainly isn't everyone's experience, but I did want to share ours.

This center is a magical little oasis for my son. He loves it so much when I go to pick him up he runs around and sometimes does not want to go in the car since he has so much fun there! The staff is incredible and friendly. The facilities are kept so clean and they are always improving the grounds and gardens. My son has learned some sign language and Spanish words due to a diverse staff. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We love SMS! Such a positive environment for little ones.

I had 3 boys that attended SMS, each started at 3 months old until graduating and moving on to PK/K. I almost want to cry thinking about all the wonderful people and experiences that my family had here. In total, we were part of the SMS family just shy of 9 years. In that time, all 3 boys had many of the same teachers which is really beautiful to think about and speaks volumes to the loving, loyal, family culture that exists here. I also watched the growth of the space, where rooms for more kids was not the priority but more play spaces, gardens, community hang out areas for families, and even a few pets roaming around, is what was added. Writing this today my kids are in 4th, 1st, and PK and all of them get mastery marks on evaluations which I attribute largely to the early education and development they received here. While we have moved on, SMS will always and forever have a very dear place in my heart. It goes without saying, I highlight recommend!

Our daughter started at SMS at 4 months old & she just graduated and headed to school in August. We love SMS. The curriculum is great, the teachers & staff are caring and friendly. Its sad to be leaving SMS because they were such a big part of our lives. We are very grateful for how well our daughter was treated and how well we were treated. SMS is a great community of people.
