Sun Oaks

Great facility and excellent pros. I'm from out of the area but every time I visit the valley I get a lesson from Steve. Courts are beautifully maintained and 24 hour racket service is great. Wish I had a club like this back home!

Generally a great experience. One notable exception, members are charged to reserve swimming lanes but the club does nothing to ensure these lanes are available. At a minimum place a monitor at the covered pool to allow everyone to see which lanes are reserved and when. This will prevent member frustration and confrontation when others take these lanes and also allow those that haven’t reserved a lane to know which lanes are available. This info is available on your website and should be easy to display on a monitor.

We’ve had a really positive experience with our membership here! Our seven month old loves the kids center and the staff. I appreciate that Sun Oaks often updates their equipment, and the place is always very clean. I recently completed a training package with one of the trainers (Kahl Steele) who was fantastic, and really helped me improve my lifts and develop a plan to meet my strength goals. Super grateful!

I recently switched to Sun Oaks gym since moving to Redding. They have a lot to offer as far as classes, multiple pools, weight and cardio rooms. Parking has been a bit difficult but I, like most people go during peek hours. My partner and I have signed up for a couples membership, we were able to get a student discount for attending collage, since we signed an annual contract our rate is about $90 a month. They were transparent about future rate increases, which we appreciate. $45 a person a month is pretty on par for the area and a great deal for the amount of amenities in my opinion, even with future increases! Customer service has been a hit or miss for us as some representatives have not been as helpful as others. Truthfully I cannot speak more highly of Marry who helped us officially get signed up! I had a ton of questions about the billing, contracts, different options, scheduling and reservations and she was extremely knowledgeable! She did not rush us or push us and made me very comfortable and confident with my decision!

I look forward to coming and seeing all my friends that I have made over the years of coming to Sun Oaks. They have a good mixture of activities to help you out to have fun while getting in shape. Young or older there is somethingf fun and engaging to do. The club has a lot to offer families too. I wish I would have joined Sun Oaks sooner. The staff are very friendly, helpful and supportive. Plus, it's a bargain compared to other sports clubs.
