Sunrise Child Development Center

Our son went to Sunrise for a year. He had the most wonderful time. The center is run Mickey and Alex like family. We always felt comfortable and knew our son was in best care with them and staff. They made us feel welcome when we started and our son still fondly remembers his friends, teachers and staff. There are no hidden fees or formalities with Sunrise. The daily activities planned and learnings were great for our son. Unfortunately, we had to move out of US for work. If we return, our son would definitely go here. We have no hesitation in recommending Sunrise to all our friends and colleagues for their kids.

My previous colleague recommended this place to us and both of her children go there. Our son has been at Sunrise since he was 8 months old and we couldn’t be happier about his experience. They have teachers truly care about children and the owner/director is onsite almost all the time to ensure the place runs well. Our son came home with crafts and they also collects all the additional crafts our son made via a large book to hand to parents. Extremely responsible and reliable staff group and we couldn’t be happier to have our son at Sunrise.

We have been enrolled in this daycare for over 3 years now. We were enrolled during the COVID-19 pandemic and not only did they stay operational to support full-time working parents, they made us feel safe and comfortable with leaving our little one. They are both professional and caring. Not a day goes by where we are not grateful to have found Sunrise. We have recommended this location to two of our close friends who now have their own children enrolled and agree with our opinions. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the SCDC teachers, and Alex and Mikey!

We have been sending our first born here since he turned one. Our kid really loves going here everyday and over the weekend asks for his teachers, Alex (owner), Mickey (his best friend) and his day care buddies. He can’t wait for Monday to come by so that he can go and have loads of fun. The teachers are amazing and take really good care of my little one. My son has developed great social skills here which was really needed in the middle of this pandemic. Everyday he surprises us with new things he learns at Sunrise. Be it songs, counting numbers, sign language, etc. Alex and team do a great job in running this daycare!

I enrolled my daughter here when she was 20 months old in May 2021 (after my nanny quit a couple days beforehand which sucked!). Alex (she is the daycare director) and Mickey are amazing; with her years of childcare experience, she is constantly updating us about the kids and is very aware of their emotional/physical/mental needs and abilities. My daughter had a speech delay, so Alex and the teachers, Miss Soledad, Miss Johanna, Miss Albany and Miss Maria (who are also excellent) worked with our speech therapist and developmental therapist onsite to better her language skills. Our therapists are impressed with this daycare and their teachers as well. Also, since we have been enrolled, not once has their daycare shut down due to a COVID outbreak! A lot of our friends told us their daycares shut down consistently during the Omicron wave but Sunrise did not experience that. The classrooms are clean, kids wear "indoor" shoes when in the classroom instead of bringing in dirt/sand from outside, they are provided with snacks and breakfast. My daughter loves it here, she thinks of the teachers and classmates as her own family and sometimes does not want to come home with me. Another mom described this place as "a home-style daycare with the professionalism of a larger center" and I totally agree. The children's activities, cleanliness, love and professionalism this place has is outstanding. I just wish we could get more pictures because what parent doesn't want their phone full of those cute little faces?!
