Sunrise Montessori Preschool

We can’t say enough nice things about Sunrise! Our daughter started attending at 18 months and the transition from being at home full to half days was super hard on both of us. But she is now thriving, both socially and academically, and attending full time everyday. All the teachers know her name and clearly care for her, and I’m never concerned about her emotional wellbeing or safety. They expose her to tons of different skills, cultures, and activities. I can trust that Sunrise will call if something seems off, and they really are partners to caring for our toddler. I feel genuinely very lucky to send our daughter to such an invested program where I feel comfortable leaving her.

I had a very concerning experience with the 14-month-old class at this daycare. On multiple days, my baby was left crying for extended periods with no comforting or engagement from the teacher. There was a noticeable lack of eye contact or interaction, which is so important at this age. The most alarming part was one morning when no one answered my calls for over 3 hours (from 10 AM to 1 PM). I had to physically go to the school to make sure my child was okay. During that entire time, there were no updates or communication in the app either — something I’ve never experienced with any other daycare or teacher before. This is not the level of care and attentiveness you expect for such young children. Based on our experience, I would not recommend the 14-month-old class at this branch.

My family has so much love for the staff at Sunrise. Our children have been there for about two years now and I adore the way the staff cares and loves for the kids. The facility is clean, calm and fun. The teachers and directors are kind, patient and do an amazing job overall. The Montessori teachings have also helped our children become independent and strong. I’m incredibly grateful for all this school has provided for our Family.

I have had my son in the Primary classroom for just about a year and it has been such a phenomenal year. This summer we decided to have our older daughter attend the Summer Camp here and she has the most fantastic time! They went on at least two field trips a week, had guests come perform shows and interactive classes with the kids plus so many more fun activities! My daughter brags about her time frequently and all the friends she made! We wish she could go to their after school program, however her elementary school is just too far! But and Hannah is just the best! We will definitely be back next year!

I have had my daughter enrolled at this amazing school since she was 3 months old(she just turned 1). I was a nervous wreck leaving my baby and these teachers knew. They were so tender with me when I would check in all day. The infant class with Leti (who we call the baby whisperer) is an absolute dream. It doesn’t stop there though - the entire staff is invested in my baby and her growth. All of them KNOW my baby and love on her as if she was their own. I always know my baby is in great hands and SAFE here. The sweet little pieces of artwork they send home are forever keepsakes too! The Mother’s Day gift made me cry, it was so precious. I can’t say enough amazing things about this school.
