Sunshine Daycare, Inc.

I am so thankful to have found Sunshine Daycare. Both my kids have attended here starting in 2021. I have always felt my kids were safe and in good hands. Lunches are fresh made and healthy options. The teachers are actively engaged in helping the kids learn. Janine is the best and the highlight of my kids time has been the annual party with pony rides!

I use to work for sunshine daycare. I only worked there for 2 days because I couldn’t handle the changing diapers of the kids there. It’s been 11 years since I’ve ever changed a diaper. I thought I would be comfortable to but wasn’t unfortunately. I tried to negotiate in maybe being put elsewhere but that wasn’t going to happen. I met a few people there who are wonderful and the smaller kids were a pleasure to meet. Apparently I couldn’t come back because I wasn’t a “good” fit in their eyes which is cool. When one door closes another one will open. I should have believed the one person who told me about this daycare place of certain employers but wanted to see for myself if it was true or not. The same way the directors and manager wished me luck I wish them well as well. I have no hard feelings towards them.

We LOVE Sunshine! Have tried other (shiny, new) daycare centers in Rochester and the turnover and management was awful. Sunshine is the exact opposite. The team there has been there for years and years and most of them are family themselves, which creates the most loving, caring, welcoming family atmosphere for my kids and our whole family. Couldn't imagine trusting my babies with any other center! Thank you, Janine and the whole Sunshine team!!

I don't know how to put into words how much I love this daycare and the staff that works here. My family and I have moved a few times, so we've been at a fair amount of daycare centers and I have never felt the connection to a center like I do here. I can't think of one staff member who isn't truly invested in the happiness of the children. They are the most caring group of teachers I've ever met and I feel confident every day that my kids are safe and well taken care of!! Their curriculum is impressive too, and fosters a love of learning and exploring. My kids have thrived while being there and I feel like we've truly become a part of the Sunshine family. Now that we've moved, yet again, I have decided to keep my kids here, and I drive 20 minutes out of the way to take my boys to Sunshine Daycare. Because, in my opinion, it is the best daycare in Rochester!!!

My son started at Sunshine when he was 4 months old. He is now 19 months and recently moved up to the 18 month room. I cannot say enough about how great the staff is. As a new mom, they made me feel comfortable leaving my infant in their care. They keep the kids very active and take them outside regularly. I am so grateful that we are a part of the Sunshine family!
