Sunshine House of Anderson

First time having my oldest little in daycare so it’s a change for him. The staff throughout the entire center have helped make his transition easier as he is getting used to the new routine. His teachers, Jazmynd and Marie, have especially been great and supportive. They’re great communicators & try to form their relationships with their students. Love the family feeling that is expressed at this center. Highly recommend!

This daycare is trash!!!! One of many encounters…my baby got hurt at the center, they told me she jumped from a counter and hurt herself which resulted in a ER and orthopedic visit. Then they refused to let me see the videotape but reassured me that they followed all protocol to assure her safety.This daycare sends clips of the children throughout the day but could not produce the footage of her being hurt!!😡 Reluctantly, I returned because I did not have anyone else to watch them while I worked & they agreed to change her room but later informed me she would need to removed because she was a bully to the kids in the room. Monica informed me that the room they were transferring her to was comprised of children with behavior issues. What an oxymoron, they confirmed that my child was a bully and needed to be in a room full of bullies.By their own admission, stated they were seeking outside professional help with that particular class. I was definitely reluctant and expressed that concern with Monica. So, immediately the calls came for me to return to the center stating she was fighting the teachers, fighting the kids, and stating she was cursing which I found absurd because she can’t formulate her words yet and was not able to tell me that she was being mistreated!!! This behavior is not demonstrated in our home. We were only there for 4 months and was constantly receiving reports in which my children were involved in accidents ! And I know things happen but every other day ?And when I dropped them off,I never knew where to take them because they were always short staff! And to be clear, I paid that $440 every week… never late! So, my last encounter,I instructed the worker to have Monica call me back and she did ………6 days later! So, I did the only reasonable thing and severed ties. We stayed way too long !

Sunshine house is a wonderful place. Especially since Monica Chapman has been on board! I feel confident leaving my one year old here. Mrs Monica is so easy to talk to and has the best personality. She is awesome and I will continue bringing my child here

We have been going to the Sunshine House a little over two years. My child loves being in Explorer 3 with Mrs. Iman and Ms. Sofia. As a parent, I truly feel that Mrs. Iman and Ms. Sofia goes above and beyond for each kid in their classroom- from planning fun parties, doing cute crafts and even helping with potty training- you can tell they genuinely love what they do! I would definitly recommend Sunshine House of Anderson

My 2 kids have been going to the sunshine house since they were itty bitty. Coming from a former employee of 4 years. I continue to send my 2 kids here and have no worries in the world. It is hard to find a daycare where you can go to work, and not worry about your children while your not with them. I know my kids are being taken care of without a doubt. Mrs. Monica is a wonderful Director, and leader for the facility. She makes sure any concerns is taken care of and she gives a listening ear. She will never brush off anything that you have any concerns over. In this world, it is hard to find a good, trustworthy daycare to send your babies to. I believe I can give a honest review based on the fact I was employed for so long here and now I am “just a parent”. I 100% recommend the daycare to anyone who is looking for a preschool/daycare for your children.
