Sunshine House of Colorado Springs

We adore our teachers and staff at the Sunshine House. Our lil guy has been so happy to have the consistency with loving teachers that are so kind and put the kids first. The staff has treated us like a part of their family since day one and we’re very thankful for the care and attention they provide our little one.

We love the Sunshine House! My son’s teachers, Libby and Erica, care for my little guy as if he were their own. I feel safe sending him there and love that they have healthy and yummy options for lunch. There’s open communication. The thing I love the most is that the teacher don’t try to force my son into a little box. His art projects don’t come home perfect, as if an adult basically did it for him while holding his hand. They give him the freedom to create and learn in his own way and at his own pace. Highly recommend.

The teachers are good. My one star rating is because the director Ashley has zero communication skills and is a nightmare to work with. I called there so many times ands left messages, even stopped in the building and left messages for her and she would never return my call. I finally had to contact corporate and then she finally calls me… with an extremely rude attitude. I wouldn’t have had to contact corporate had she returned even one call. She is awful to work with. I think she’s overwhelmed and doesn’t know how to run the center. Her assistant however is amazing. I wish they would give the position to her. She was way more responsive and amazing to talk to. My kids went there for a few months and the assistant was always so sweet and pleasant to work with. Huge props to her. I think corporate needs to discuss communication with Ashley. Especially since there are other reviews from other clients regarding her behavior.

My daughter attended this summer for the first time and was overly happy about going here daily. It’s so tough to find a summer camp she enjoys, feels comfortable, and feels safe. Miss Izzy specifically was talked about often, and my daughter always had so many good things to say.

The Sunshine House was the best place for my child for preschool. The teachers were wonderful and the staff was excellent. My child grew and learned so much during their time here. I’m glad we attended. Would definitely recommend to others.
