Sunshine House of Columbia at Broad River Road

They have been amazing with my son. I was a bit nervous at first but they definitely made me and him feel comfortable. My son is autistic and has behaviors with some days being difficult for him I appreciate how they handle him and allow him to work through his emotions. I’m very picky and I have no complaints. He especially loves Mr.Kendrick ❤️

We've had our son at Sunshine House for about 3 months and have had a great experience! He loves his teachers, Miss Dyamon and Miss Breonna, and is always excited to get to daycare. Kendrick and Sigourney in the front office are also very friendly and responsive.

As a parent and experienced preschool teacher of 8+ years, I wouldn't recommend sending your children to this Sunshine House location. Management is very unprofessional, unorganized and the cleanliness of the facility honestly deserves a 3. After pursuing employment with the sunshine House (which was an extremely long process) and working for a short while at that location, I decided that the environment wasn't a good fit for me personally, so I resigned. Instead of respecting my decision Ms. Sigourney decided it was appropriate to leave me a voicemail stating, since I'm no longer working there my children can no longer attend the preschool since "they were only allowed to attend because they needed me for employment". Very unprofessional. I'm pretty sure the Sunshine House is meant to teach and care for the children of the community and not just the children of employees. It's really a shame to exclude children from attending a place where their friends and teachers that they love are located all because a parent chose not to work for the center. It's petty and very distasteful. Also, I feel for the overworked staff and the children that may be at their hands. This center, however, does have the potential to do better.

Great childcare center and I love the environment. The staff there are great & really care for the children. Everyday my children are excited to come to daycare and that makes me feel good. The assistant Director Mr. Kendrick is awesome !! All around this is a great childcare .

The love is definitely here at the location… it is definitely true that you lead by example. Sigourney Zacharski and Kendrick Hampton team is amazing. We all know how hard it is to let your 2 year old”Royal” go off to school, Maliyah Johnson and staff makes it easy each morning. The cleanness at this location is top notch. I love the all day updates about my daughter. Long story short… The Sunshine house on Broad river makes my work day go smoothly. 🥰🥰🥰
