Sunshine House of North Augusta

Sunshine Academy is truly the best place for children! I 100% recommend it to any parent looking for a daycare that is safe, loving, and engaging. Kim and Miranda are amazing leaders who run the facility with so much care and attention. Our 20-month-old absolutely loves it there! His teachers treat him like their own, and the bond they have with the children is incredible. Special thanks to April, Terika, Scott, Trey, Arlene, and Courtney...each of you plays such an important role in making this place feel like home. We've never had an issue that wasn't addressed promptly and professionally. One of the things we love most is the transparency. The classroom monitors are always on, and parents can pop in at any time to see their child. They also have an app that updates you throughout the day on what your child is doing, from activities, to meals, to how much they ate, and even diaper changes. It gives us peace of mind and helps us stay connected while we're at work. The children are constantly doing fun projects and always bringing something home for the parents. The food and snacks are fantastic and we know our child is well-fed and happy every day. I truly couldn’t imagine taking him anywhere else. Sunshine Academy is our forever daycare and its all thanks to the amazing staff who go above and beyond every single day.

Sunshine House has the best staff! They’re super sweet and engaging with my child and they communicate well and often with the parents. I feel really good about leaving my kid with his teachers, Miss Angela and Miss Logan. They’re very thoughtful about their classroom activities and seem to really love what they do. I have had great interactions with the directors too! Very friendly and professional staff all around.

My son has been going to Sunshine House since he was 6 months old, I was very nervous to send him not knowing how he would do, but they have been fantastic. He is now 2 and has loved it. He has attached to every teacher in every classroom he’s been in and they have been so good to him. I LOVE the app, I can see what he’s ate and when. They keep me updated about his activities throughout the day! They have always gone above and beyond for my boy… couldn’t ask for a better staff!

The Sunshine House is a place that makes my child feel safe and very content with the staff at hand. The staff at the sunshine house from the director, to the chef, to the smiling faces of all the teachers has made me feel very comfortable as well my child. They make themselves available at all times and are there no matter what time of the day I enter the building. I particularly like that the rooms are very clean and that the teachers are very interested in what the children are learning and doing. I am so happy to have my child attending The Sunshine House.

My daughter has been very well taken care of at north augusta sunshine house since she was 6 weeks old. She is 2 now and has loved her time in each classroom she has been in so far which includes the infant room (6 wk - 1 yr), toddler room (1-2 yr), and now explorers room (2-3 yr). Everyday I drop her off she is greeted with a big hug from a smiling caregiver. I was hesitant at first trusting people I barely know to care for my child all day, but I quickly learned to trust them and feel comfortable leaving her in their care because from early on as an infant i saw the big smile on my baby’s face when she entered the room and hugged her teachers each morning. I know that even though she couldn’t actually communicate to me in words her body language shows that she is happy to see them and therefore I know she is well taken care of. I truly believe the teachers and school director treat her with as much love they would provide to their own child. She often comes home with new milestones, skills, and words and I’m truly amazed at how much she learns during her time there. I will soon be happy to enroll my second daughter and am confident she will receive all the love and care that she needs while I’m working during the day.
