Sunshine Learning Center

My toddler has been attending this child care center since December of 2024. Due to personal reasons, we had to leave the previous daycare he was attending ever since he was an infant, so finding a place I could trust was very important. Sunshine Learning Center was there for us every step of the way, and has been extremely professional. I love that they take great care in making sure children are set up for success! My kiddo has had a hard time transitioning from his previous daycare, but he has warmed up so much here. I do not feel like I’m dropping him off to just play all day, I know he gets the attention and learning he needs for his age. I absolutely love the teachers and the directors as well, any questions I’ve had they’ve been there to answer! Just walking into the place you feel peace and that everything is being held down by strong staff. The center is clean, and you can tell that they regularly organize things as well. The center also smells fresh, like it has been thoroughly cleaned regularly which is IMPORTANT in keeping children healthy. I’ve been to other places where unfortunately it was super chaotic all the time, not just occasionally as expected because kids will be kids. However, every time I come into the center, the children are clearly following a learning schedule conducted by staff which is exciting to see. When weather prohibits, I know that my kiddo is outside enjoying the sunshine, but has had his academic needs met too! That’s you, Mrs. Kristen!!!

We’ve had three kids (so far) go through Sunshine from ages 1.5 til 4, and we adore them. All of the staff is so friendly and we appreciate the family feel of it - all of the teachers in the building know our kids by name and know our family well. The boys have all made good friendships and are excited to go to school!

It was nine years ago that I was a mom to be scouring internet reviews for potential daycare centers. We were new to the area and I didn't have a network to ask about childcare, so I felt very overwhelmed by my options. I am so thankful every day that we ended up choosing Sunshine Learning Center all those years ago - I've had two kids now spend their baby, toddler, and preschool years here over nine years, and I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The owner, director, and staff all do an amazing job loving and caring for the kids - they feel more like extended family than a daycare. I have seen my kids grow and thrive here - connecting with their teachers, learning, making friends, and discovering the world. Here are my top highlights: Owner: Ms. Lauren is a delight - she is so knowledgeable with the kids and very hands on. She is often there early, in classrooms, and helping out as needed. She knows all the kids, their siblings, parents, etc. I cannot imagine a more involved and wonderful owner! Director: Ms. Beth is so patient and organized. She is always willing to answer questions or pass on a funny story from the day. She is very admired by the kids and keeps everything moving like a well-oiled machine! Staff - The teachers amaze me with their patience, creativity, and care. They are always developing adorable crafts, new games, songs, and more to help the kids grow, learn, and play. As a new mom, they were there to help support me through the hard times and celebrate the victories. They gave valuable perspective on child development, and tbh, did a lot of heavy lifting on things like potty training and sharing. The fact that they can get 1-year olds to lay down in a common room and nap makes me believe they must have some sort of magical powers - I am thankful they use those powers for good in caring for my kids! Facility - it feels exactly like a daycare should! It is bright, comfortable, full of energy, and well-designed for kids to learn and play in. Snacks and meals are prepared on site, and there are big outdoor play spaces. Day-to-day activities: A great blend of learning and play. Child appropriate learning happens each day, but mostly the kids play, create, read, sing, and enjoy their days. I would give them 10 stars out of 5 if I could - thank you Sunshine for all you've done for us!

I cannot recommend this daycare enough! My kids have attended this center from June 2024 to January 2025. This was their first time ever being in a daycare facility and just within their 7.5 months of being here, they have grown and learned SO much. The staff is very friendly, classrooms are clean, they keep you updated with the kid’s daily routines. If I could keep them here until they grow out of daycare, I 10000% would.

My two girls have been at this daycare for a year now. The staff is always friendly and the owners/managers are very responsive and always checking on the classes. I appreciate the care the give my girls and recommended this daycare to those looking. The kids come home happy, ready to tell me about the fun activities they had throughout the day. I feel good about taking my kids here and can rest easy knowing they are well cared for when I’m at work.
