Susanna Wesley Nursery School

This past year our daughter attended Susanna Wesley Preschool in the two year old program. We were so anxious at first, sending our daughter in care of people other than family for the first time. After the first day jitters, I never worried. We have been impressed with everything and everyone. Her classroom teacher and aide are just clearly gifted with this age showing care and compassion for our daughter in a way I never anticipated. Her classroom teacher communicated with us regularly with updates and pictures which we loved receiving! Her early care teacher also was so sweet! The director is clearly a presence in the building and shows care and compassion for her students and teachers. The PTO organizes awesome events that we and our daughter have loved attending! We were so sad to learn that our daughter would not be able to finish the school year due to the current pandemic. I never anticipated her teacher to attempt any kind of distance learning- but she made it happen! Her teacher has provided very developmentally appropriate NO PRESSURE activities we can complete as a family. The front office and director have been very responsive throughout this whole crisis- and are being incredibly generous in addressing lost school days. We miss her teachers and can't wait to hug them for way exceeding our expectations for a "first school" experience. If you're looking for a preschool with a play-based hands on learning approach and a team of the most compassionate teachers- this is the place.
