Unless you're already homeless!!!! Switchpoint, WILL NOT help you. I am a single woman. My son just turned 18 going to Dixie tech. Also recently has moved out. I got a 3-day eviction. Currently struggling with my finances. IN 2 weeks I can hopefully register and insure my car. Which will land me a better paying job. Unfortunately, I was denied any FINANCIAL assistance. Instead of helping the cause and families or single people who are supporting of themselves with a place! they will not help you. Only after you lose your home become HOMELESS so the can house you. definitely will not help you to prevent you FROM become homeless and neither WILL THE CALVARY CHURCH, REVIVAL CHURCH, SALVATION homeless prevention or five county NOR section 8, SECTION 8 doesn't offer anything till September 3rd. 1000 PEOPLE. IF YOU DON'T MAKE IT TO THAT CUT, WELL THEN YOU DON'T GET HELP. THEY'D rather WAIT FOR YOUR DOWNFALL. After you lose your home. that way they can get more BENEFITS from the government and count you into the matrix system of the statistics of their program being beneffitting. AFTER YOU LOSE YOUR HOME/APARTMENT. . IS THERE ANY OTHER DIRECTIONS THAT I CAN POSSIBLY LOOK FOR WITH GETTING A GRANT THAT CAN HELP ME AND ANYBODY THAT OF HAS THAT ADVICE PLEASE LOOK ME UP ON MESSENGER.

Shelter has amazing resources and a lot of funding. The food is pretty solid and there’s always enough for everyone. The rooms are comfortable and clean. And they’re building an entirely new facility that seems even nicer than the current one. This would be an easy 5 stars if it weren’t for the staff. The staff, on paper, are qualified to do their jobs, but they lack any form of perspective at all. And when you’re working with homeless people, that’s a very important thing to have. So rather than relating to people who are struggling, they look down on them because of it. Switchpoint staff treat their jobs less like an opportunity to help the less fortunate, and more as an opportunity to beat down people who are already struggling. So I’d say if you’re homeless and you can deal with the toxicity from staff without letting it get to you too much, this is a good place to be, otherwise you’re better off going somewhere else. The Cedar shelter has recovering addicts among their staff, people who know what it’s like to actually struggle, not just a bunch of kids right out of college who think they know everything about how the world works.

This place is an absolute joke!! My 2 kids and I "lived" there for a month and it's a joke they have violated my rights and stole my medication!! There have been multiple residents getting their personal belongings stolen or as they claim "lost" not to mention they discriminated against me. (Im physically disabled). and violated HIPPA laws because they refuse to give me back not only my meds but they refuse to give me back my kids and my medical papers! The staff is CONSTANTLY spying on you and they treat you like you are NOTHING!!!!!

Really rude when returning my call couldn't tell me what they do or how they help people I had left a voicemail and because I have a brain injury I didn't remember the conversation that I left and my situation has since changed because I try all avenues for resources even in other states and he called just to tell me to try somewhere else and wouldn't even tell me what he can help with

Awesome 👍 today under the shaded Grape Vines Arboretum..the mentor fixed water pipes to supply timing dprinkerd fir new beds of berries and greens to be used daily in the Cafeteria's kitchen. The Apricots are taking shape from blossom to green fruit. The surrounding Earth enbankments were trucked in by local community militia National guard during service Projects...wow, it's all turning out more productive and beautiful each week when families or business teams sign up on line to learn from Dr. Dirt how to plant it water or thin the weeds or prune, pick or harvest and walk it over to the Switchpoint Kitchen. Switchpoint Just Broke Ground on 55 unit Housing for safe quality low income. I am honored to give time and consistency to Switch point. K.J. Richardson
