Tendercare Child Center

After looking at a couple of daycare options Tendercare was the first place our oldest son actually walked around and played in during our visit. Everyone was so nice and professional and made us feel comfortable and secure in our decision. We graduated 2 kids from their program, from the infant room all the way through the after school program. Our kids were well taken care of, made great friends and over the years everyone at Tendercare really became family. Tendercare had a big hand in helping us raise our boys into the big kids they are today and we can’t thank them enough. We are so grateful for the guidance, support and environment they provide; we would recommend Tendercare to anyone!

When my wife and I were preparing for the arrival of our first son, like many expectant/new parents, we did a lot of research to find the very best daycare in the Capital Region. After "graduating" three sons from Tendercare, I remain convinced that we, indeed, found the very best. The staff at Tendercare – from the infant room, to the toddlers, to the threes and fours, and the summer program for older children – played a tremendous role in molding our sons into the young adults they are today. The compassion, caring, and humanity the staff modeled for our sons -- each and every day -- prepared them well for when they headed off to elementary school. I cannot offer enough praise for Tendercare and its staff -- knowing our sons were in capable hands when my wife and I were at work provided tremendous peace of mind. The staff there is truly part of our family and I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for expert, compassionate, and child-centered care.

Tendercare is wonderful! It was the first place we looked when we were expecting our first child and it has been well worth the decision. We were greeted immediately at the time of our interview and spoken to in a professional and warm manner. Our minds were made up already but we chose to look into a few more resources. However, we ultimately chose Tendercare for a number of reasons, primarily as a function of its professionalism and the warmth we felt when we walked in. If you are a parent who wants your childcare professionals to feel like family, then Tendercare is the place to go.

This daycare is absolutely amazing. The people there actually care about the progress your child makes, and you see physical and mental improvements on a daily basis. My son has been there for about a month now and I couldn't be happier. I am never afraid to drop him off or feel bad that he is not getting attention, because he gets so much individualized attention every day. They are fantastic and I wouldn't want my son anywhere else.

A few years ago, our children went to school here. Some employees of this daycare center were okay. Later, we had a change and had to tell the school that we could not go to school here. The principal happened to be on vacation. After that, we had to ask the principal every day if we had returned to school. Later, when we found the principal, she actually knew that we were leaving the school. When we asked her to return our deposit, she said she could not return it to us. When we enrolled, we were asked to pay a deposit of about 500 US dollars. Our deposit of 500 US dollars was confiscated by this principal for nothing. I really couldn't accept it at the time. Sometimes I still think about how such an incomprehensible thing could happen. Everyone should never choose such a school. I don't want everyone to be hurt in the same way.
