We have been part of the Goddard Aurora family for 8 years, and we truly couldn’t be happier with our experience. From day one, the teachers and administrative staff have gone above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for our kids to learn and grow. Our children have always been excited to go to school each day, which speaks volumes about how caring and engaging the teachers are. They’ve not only built a strong educational foundation but have also made wonderful friends and memories along the way. The communication from the staff has always been excellent, and we’ve felt supported and heard every step of the way. It’s clear that everyone at Goddard Aurora genuinely cares about each child and their family. We can’t recommend this school enough to any family looking for a place where their kids will be loved, challenged, and encouraged to thrive. I have had three grandchildren in The Goddard School of Aurora, with the third one being there now. The foundation built there has fully prepared the first two to excel as they progress through their school years. I expect no difference with the third, who is blossoming under their care and instruction. I especially like the new outdoor area that provides so many outstanding tactile learning opportunities.

A Place That Truly Cares – Thank You, Goddard School of Aurora We absolutely love the Goddard School of Aurora and the incredible staff who make it such a special place. Our son, Cohlton, started here at the Pre-K age after having two difficult experiences at other nearby daycare centers. At his previous schools, he was accused of poor behavior and was even disenrolled from one center across the street, who simply stated they “couldn’t handle his behavior.” Understandably, we were anxious and disheartened when we toured Goddard and shared our concerns. From the very beginning, we were reassured that this school would work with us—not against us—and that behavioral challenges would be approached with partnership, not punishment. That promise held true every single day. In the year that Cohlton attended, I only received one phone call regarding behavior, and it was handled with professionalism, kindness, and thoughtful, age-appropriate redirection. Any small behavioral concerns that came up in the classroom were always addressed with a calm conversation between the teacher and us as parents. The staff consistently worked with us to find strategies that might help and shared thoughtful suggestions without judgment—just support and collaboration. There was one other incident when my husband was picking up our son and didn’t have his ID. An office staff member, not recognizing him, understandably couldn’t release our son. My husband became frustrated and raised his voice, but the staff responded with complete calmness, empathy, and understanding. They never escalated the moment and prioritized safety while also finding a solution that respected everyone involved. Afterward, my husband reflected and truly appreciated that their actions were grounded in protecting our precious little boy. Every day, we experienced warmth, communication, and consistency. Mary-Ellen was always kind and professional in every interaction, clearly explaining everything and helping us feel confident as parents. Ms. Hailey, one of the Pre-K teachers, is hands down the BEST childcare provider I have ever encountered. She is kind, patient, and incredibly compassionate. Every single day, she greets the children with a smile and a hug, making each one feel welcomed and safe. She truly loves these kids as if they were her own. She is a calm voice in moments of emotional overwhelm, helping kids regulate and feel secure. To this day, my son calls her his best friend. Ms. Cathy was equally amazing—setting clear, kind expectations while keeping things fun and educational. She helped the kids understand structure while also fostering curiosity and joy through creative learning and games. The in-house summer camp has been a hit, filled with engaging daily activities that keep the kids learning, laughing, and having fun. And the newest outdoor classroom has been a HUGE hit with our son—he loves spending time outside exploring and learning. This school has shown up for our family every single day—not just as caregivers but as true partners in our son’s development. They know our names, care about our story, and have made us feel part of a community. Thank you, Goddard Aurora, for everything—for your love, protection, patience, and kindness. We will miss you dearly as Cohlton moves on to kindergarten, but we are already looking forward to returning in the future. You will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience with The Goddard school! Everyone there has made our little guy feel so special and loved. They are always friendly, accommodating and we are going to miss them now that we are moving on to kindie! You’ll love it there! :)

We have been to Goddard for a total of 11 years and the staff and the teachers are amazing. This location in particular always gave me comfort to know my kids were in good hand every day.
