The Goddard School of Baltimore (Locust Point)

We're very happy with the teachers, activities and enrichment, and communication with the school. Staff and teachers have been flexible and attentive. I love that they offer different levels of enrollment and don't require M-F (except for infants up to 12 months). I also love the outdoor space and all the activities. Our son has learned a ton.

The curriculum you are given is not what the children receive. The days are unstructured and inconsistent. This is more of a day care than an actual classroom setting. They have cited staffing issues and public transportation delays as the root cause of their issues. They raised tuition but have not solved their staffing issues. The teachers we had were caring and great, but the school is not ran well. We were “forgotten about” during orientation, owners never reached out despite multiple requests, it was disappointing for the amount of money we spent. We pulled our son after 6 months and are sending him elsewhere.

We absolutely love The Goddard School Locust Point. Our now 2 yo loves all of his teachers and constantly talks about his teachers and friends. We are amazed every day at how much he's learning and developing. There are always fun and engaging activities planned and the communication with the teachers and admin is great. As first time parents, it was definitely a challenge making the transition to daycare but all of the teachers have been amazing and supportive and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

This Goddard (Locust Point) has the most amazing teachers + admin! The school was our now 2YO first school experience, and she absolutely fell in love. The teachers were always so warm and welcoming towards her, and made her feel right at home. The program also does an amazing job at keeping the parents updated on their day with photos and I love the daily overview we receive once we pick up our child. As a parent of 3, I HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone who's considering!

This place is awesome. The admin are incredibly friendly and helpful, and all the teachers that interact with our little one are professional and caring. We were really worried about our daughter's transition to daycare, but all the staff have been super helpful and our kiddo's social skills have improved dramatically. Truly a special place.
