The Goddard School of Danbury

We are very happy with the education at The Goddard School of Danbury. The curriculum is age-appropriate and comprehensive. The facilities are clean, updated and secure. The teaching staff is kind, attentive, and caring towards our children. I have nothing but good things to say about this school.

From the moment my son was born, I was nervous about anyone else taking care of him besides myself/husband, family/friends. It took me a long time to start looking at daycare/schools for him because of this. As my husband and I both work, and also recently welcomed our second son into our lives, we felt like we had to start looking. The Goddard school came up right away as recommended. We asked to take a tour and they responded almost immediately. The staff is friendly, welcoming and most importantly for me- caring and warm. Every day that I pick him up, he always has a lot to say about his day and all the activities and learning that went on…but most importantly for me, he always asks when he will be going back.

We are so happy with our experience at Goddard! Both of our kids have gone here and it’s truly a family. Our children both woke up excited to go to school in the morning and have felt so loved and supported by their teachers. Our older son has now moved on but talks daily about how much he loved and misses Goddard! Kellie, Lynn, and the teachers here create the warmest environment where kids thrive! We love it here and wish we never had to leave!

We’ve had our children at The Goddard School in Danbury since 2021, have graduated one from Pre-K and have our third child starting in a couple of weeks. My kids have built wonderful relationships with their teachers and friends, and they consistently are engaged in play/experiments/art/reading/etc, learning new things every day. Each day at drop off, we know they will be safe, loved, and well taken care of. We couldn’t recommend the school more to families considering it!

My daughter started in The Goddard School - Danbury in a Summer Camp, and I kept her there to Kindergarten. From the very first day, I saw an incredible difference in her behavior compared to the school she was attending previously. She flourished under the care of the nurturing environment of such a great team. I highly recommend Goddard-Danbury to all parents who need to know that their kids will be in a safe and stimulating space.
