The Goddard School of Fort Wayne

We chose Goddard school for the proximity to our home and work, but the quality of care has totally blown us away! Our son initially started out in the young toddler room with Miss Ruth and is now in the next room with Miss Schylar and Miss Kaylin. All of the teachers are so interactive and attentive while also challenging our son to learn new things. Admin has also been wonderful, they’re always welcoming and warm and great at keeping us in the loop. Can’t recommend Goddard enough!

My daughter is so loved by staff and is forming strong friendships, growing in her confidence and is learning so much! Jess, Chelsi and Julie are the dynamic trio and are running everything so well. The owners are very active and are extremely actionable with feedback. The parent advisory committee is a great way for parents to have input on almost every aspect of the school. Kids are loved and are learning. Parents are heard and have the ability to drive change. The staff is phenomenal and pour so much love and energy into the kiddos each day. Additional shout outs to Ms. Kelly and Mrs. Robin for the nurturing and patience in the kindergarten room! Also, Ms. Lilly and Ms. Lisa are so loving and caring during “after care” playtime. Definitely recommend!

2023: My son is enrolled at The Goddard School of Fort Wayne and we couldn't be more pleased with his care. When interviewing daycares, it quickly became apparent that The Goddard School of Fort Wayne is an exceptional school with a great curriculum. The facility is extremely clean/well taken care of and all of the staff are incredibly friendly. My son’s teachers, Miss Julie and Miss Julia, are phenomenal and they take exceptional care of him during the day. Not having to worry about the care that he is receiving while both his parents are working has been a huge relief. When working from home several days a week, I take advantage of the open-door policy in the infant room and I often stop over (unannounced) at various times during the workday and spend an hour or so with my son. I’m always amazed at the amount of control and calm his two teachers have over the infant room! From the office staff to the teaching staff to the maintenance staff, I have never once had an encounter that was unfriendly or gave me pause. I would highly recommend The Goddard School of Fort Wayne and I am looking forward to many more years of my son being in their care. I have no doubt that he will continue to thrive in the environment that the school provides for their students. 2024 Update: My son is in his third classroom at Goddard and he continues to thrive. Miss Kaylin and Miss Schylar are wonderful teachers who are both clearly invested in providing a fun learning environment for the students. They both go above and beyond in planning educational activities and fostering learning in their classroom. Each day through the Goddard phone app, the teachers post pictures and videos of my son participating in daily classroom activities and it's fun to see how key aspects of the school's curriculum are incorporated into lessons. The staff at Goddard are so caring and get to know each student. At drop off and pick up, numerous teachers and administrative staff greet my son by name in the hallways; even teachers that he hasn't had yet know his name and say stop to say hello. We are still very happy to be part of the Goddard family and continue to highly recommend the school.

Our daughter has attended The Goddard School for the last two years, and we couldn’t be happier with the education she has been provided. Even as young as she was when she started, there has always been clear intent in regards to her development at each stage. I am still amazed at some of the topics she is able to discuss coherently, being the age that she is. Having came from another local daycare where it was obvious that there was little focus on education (think babysitter vs. teacher), we knew what we were looking for in a school. Prior to enrollment, Dr. Shakeel (one of the owners) took the time to discuss his philosophy on childhood development with us, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking skills. We felt very confident walking away from that conversation, and haven’t regretted the decision to enroll our daughter since. While not everything can be perfect in a business such as this, everyone there (owners, teachers, administrative staff) demonstrate genuine care for what they do. The peace of mind we have from this while our daughter is away from us, is invaluable. If you are considering having your child attend The Goddard School, I highly encourage having an in-depth conversation with the staff there prior to making a decision. Not only is it the responsible thing to do for your child or children, but meeting the owners/staff will be much more insightful for you than reading opinions of internet strangers (myself included), whose values might not align with your family’s. A huge thank you to everyone at The Goddard School for having such a positive impact on our daughter’s life, and indirectly ours. We hope the community continues to allow you to prosper, as you have helped our daughter to do the same.

What a wonderful program with amazing staff! They are very caring and personable with their students, they take the time to care for each individuals needs and really make it their priority to advance their students in the best of way. What a wonderful experience with Fort Wayne Goddard school.
