The Goddard School of Gaithersburg

We’ve had a great experience with The Goddard School of Gaithersburg! From the very beginning, the staff was welcoming and supportive as our two young children (ages 2 and 4) transitioned into their new environment. The teachers are caring, and take time to understand each child’s personality and needs. The communication with families is consistent and transparent, which gave us peace of mind. The classrooms are filled with activities that foster both learning and play. We especially appreciate how the school supports social-emotional development and provides a nurturing space for our kids to grow. Starting a new school can be stressful for any family, but Goddard made the process reassuring. We’re grateful to be part of this community.

From the moment my son transitioned from a regular daycare to the Goddard school the change was almost instant. The atmosphere, the teachings and the care have been amazing. Ms. Nelson and Ms.Guevara have been amazing to my son. They are the best teachers Yisa has ever had and all the teachers at this school are great! From my son’s first day he was so nervous and Ms. Nelson took him and my son has loved school ever since. I can tell she is always very attentive and keeps close eye on his process. I love the Goddard school and I will be forever grateful for their impact on my sons life!

We’ve had an excellent experience with The Goddard School since moving to Maryland a few years ago! After touring Georgetown Hill and several other local daycares, a friend recommended Goddard to us, and it quickly stood out as the best fit! Our toddler started here at 9 months and she's now in the early preschool classes. The teachers and faculty have been consistently exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely invested our toddler's development. The curriculum is outstanding, and we’re continually amazed by what she’s learning, from academic fundamentals to social skills. We highly recommend The Goddard School to any family seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their kiddo!

We’ve had a wonderful experience at The Goddard School in Gaithersburg, where our son Benji has been for almost two years. Coming from another Goddard location, we had high expectations—and this school has more than delivered. Every teacher Benji has had so far has been caring, professional, and truly invested in his growth. This year in particular, we’ve been especially touched by the incredible care and love shown by Ms. Dave and Ms. Agustin. The bond Benji has with them is so heartwarming—it’s clear how much he loves his teachers, and equally clear how much they care about him. They are endlessly patient, nurturing, and always approach each child with kindness and thoughtful discipline when needed. We feel very lucky to be part of the Goddard Gaithersburg community and can’t thank the staff enough for the positive impact they’ve had on Benji’s early years.

We’ve had an amazing experience at the Goddard School at Gaithersburg. The staff are warm and friendly. The owners are awesome! Our son enjoys everyday with his teacher who has become a household name at our home. We are confident that he is in safe hands at the school. And he’s learning a lot! So grateful for the school!
