We couldn't be happier with the care and education our child has received at The Goddard School ( Short pump ). From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured, creating a warm and nurturing environment that has truly helped our child thrive. The teachers are incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work (Get Set Class // Ms.Ava) She genuinely care about each child's development, providing a variety of enriching activities that foster creativity, social skills, and emotional growth. Our child is always having a great time throughout the day, although drop off is still challenging, Ms.Ava made sure to accommodate us and we love hearing about the fun and educational experiences they have. The facility itself is clean, safe, and well-maintained, with plenty of space for the children to play and explore. We also appreciate the strong communication from the staff. We always know how our child’s day went through the daily reports and updates, and the staff is always available for any questions. Overall, The Goddard School (Henrico) has exceeded our expectations, and we feel confident that our child is in great hands. We highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a caring, supportive, and enriching environment for their little one. Lee-Ann and her team are such a great support to have and we thank you for everything you do!

We love the school! Our son has been attending Goddard since he was 4 months old and he’s always had the best care and attention. The teachers are amazing, loving, nurturing, caring, and supportive. It truly feels like a family at this point. The owners are kind and attentive. There’s good communication between staff and parents, which we appreciate. Our son has learned so much while in school, they provide multiple activities that keep the children engaged and motivated. We highly recommend!

We absolutely love this daycare! The staff is incredibly caring, and the staff goes above and beyond by knowing all the families by name. The teachers and staff are exceptional and create such a warm and nurturing environment. My son absolutely loves his time here! He comes home taking about Spanish, soccer, and playing outside, but most of all, he adores his teachers. It’s clear how much thought and effort they put into making every day fun and engaging for the kids. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and enriching place for their child. It’s been a wonderful experience for our family!

My daughter has attended Goddard for the past two years starting as a two year old. I am so fortunate to have found such a warm and loving place for her to grow and learn. The staff (in all four classrooms she has transitioned through) have been wonderful. They’re kind, responsive, nurturing and engaging. The owners are also kind, caring, personable and understanding people. When I drop her off I know she is in a safe environment that fosters her growth and with people that care about her.

We LOVE the Goddard School. Our daughter has been attending since she was five months old and she is truly thriving. She has learned so much, she loves her teachers, and the school is small enough that all of the directors and other teachers know her as well! It’s so comforting knowing we are leaving her with people who love and care for her as much as we do!
