The Goddard School of Midlothian (Walton Park)

Our experience with The Goddard School at Walton Park has been nothing short of wonderful. Our son began preschool there in August of last year. Transitioning from a home-based daycare to a more structured school environment was initially a challenge for him—and for us as parents. But thanks to the incredible support of the teachers and administrative staff, the adjustment quickly became a positive and smooth journey. A heartfelt shoutout to Ms. Debbie, Ms. Kanesha, and Ms. Katie, who not only recognized my anxieties as a mother but also offered genuine care, patience, and reassurance every step of the way. Their compassion made a world of difference, and we are so grateful for them. While the school may not be highly racially diverse, we have always felt welcomed and respected, which we deeply appreciate. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to nurture young learners, and there’s a consistent effort to keep the children happy and engaged through fun, enriching activities. We are so thankful to be part of The Goddard School at Walton Park family!

We have been attending The Goddard School at Walton Park for almost 3 years and couldn't ask for a better fit for our two children. The teachers truly care about their kids and provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for them daily. Goddard Walton Park does an amazing job incorporating new and exciting activities, spirit days, and events to keep families engaged and create a sense of community. Our kids look forward to attending daycare and we are very grateful that we feel at ease sending our babies there each day!

The teachers and staff at the Goddard school are amazing. I am so happy that we have such a fun and safe environment for my son to attend before and after school care, as well as summer camp. He loves being there and sometimes wants to stay even longer when it’s time for pick up. They are so kind and attentive to each child and their families. The directors and the admin as well take care of each family and address all their questions or concerns. If you’re considering your child going to the Walton park Goddard school, I highly recommend it!!

We switched our son to Goddard after a terrible experience at a different school and are so happy we made the switch. We can finally say that we have found a place that treats our child like family. He has grown and learned so much, he is happy to go to school and happy to share his day when he gets home. The staff communicates well anything that needs to be brought to our attention. And the most important part for us, we know he is safe. I recommend Goddard Walton Park to everyone I know who is looking for a place for their child. My son talks about his teachers just as much as his friends and how much fun they are. We love Ms. Astrid, Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Debbie, Ms. Sarah and the rest of the team there because they love our kid so much too!

Our son has been at The Goddard School for the past 3 years and we have had nothing but great experiences. From teachers, communication, and our child's development, we are more than pleased with the Goddard team. You can tell our son really enjoys his time here, which provides a comforting feeling as a parent knowing he is in a safe, fun environment when we have to be away at work. Can't say it enough - Love the team, love the teachers, and love the curriculum/creativity!
