The Goddard School of Raleigh (Ridge Road)

We love Goddard! Our 2.5 year old son has attended since he was 9 months and been in three different classrooms as he’s aged up. We’ve loved all of them! Each teacher has made us feel that our son is seen and appreciated. Goddard is always open and responsive to any concerns and feedback. We feel so lucky for him to attend school there!

This is one of the few places to have your child school without worrying if he/she is safe. They don’t overlook small things especially any change in your child; be it feeding, behavior , health and even how they get along with others. Every member of the staff is friendly and they really make you feel at home. I can’t wait for my sone to join his sister. They teaching and activities are great and they always have someone fun for the children to look forward to.

We've had a wonderful experience with Goddard at Ridge Rd! The location is very convenient, and the environment is warm and welcoming. The staff is caring and attentive. Our child feels comfortable, happy, and confident here, which gives us great peace of mind. Highly recommend!

I was initially very impressed by the Goddard School in Raleigh when I toured the facility in February of last year. The space was clean, well-organized, and the activities offered to the children looked engaging and developmentally appropriate. I appreciated the care that seemed to go into creating a nurturing environment. At the time, my son was 6 months old, and I was told he wouldn’t be eligible for a spot until around age 2 due to the long waitlist. I went ahead and paid both the annual registration fee and an additional $750 deposit, with the understanding that this deposit might improve his chances of moving up the waitlist if a spot opened up. Since then, I have reached out multiple times by phone and email to check in. Unfortunately, I have never received a response to any of my inquiries. My son is now approaching his second birthday, and I still have no clarity on whether he will be able to attend or even where he stands on the list. At this stage, I need to make decisions about his care — and I believe any parent deserves at least the courtesy of a response. While I understand that space may be limited, the lack of communication over such a long period has left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. I sincerely hope the administration reconsiders how they handle prospective families and improves their follow-up processes in the future

We started at Goddard in August after leaving KinderCare at UNC Rex and the difference is night and day! Goddard does SO much for not just the children and families that attend, but the teachers and that makes all the difference. The love and care that the teachers and staff pour into each other and the kids is truly unmatched. We noticed so much growth with our daughter just after the first week there! Ms. Priscilla, Ms. Zoe, and Ms. Jessica are so wonderful and we could not ask for better teachers for our daughter. Every afternoon, without prompting, our daughter tells us how much she loves her teachers and how much fun she has with them. You can tell they love the kids in their class and that it isn't just a job to them. We are so happy at Goddard! I originally posted my review several months ago, but I just wanted to add how amazing Ms. Maddie, Ms. Prissilia, Ms. Trinity, and Ms. Bri are! They are just as caring and helpful as our daughter's teachers in her previous classroom. Our transition to the older classroom was seamless!
