The Goddard School of Reno (Somersett)

We truly love The Goddard School. The entire team is incredibly loving, caring, hardworking, and detail-oriented. It’s clear that the teachers genuinely care about our son and his well-being & they treat him like family. We especially appreciate the daily reports and photos, which give us a glimpse into his day and the wonderful activities he participates in. It brings us so much peace and joy to know he’s in such a nurturing environment. We couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere else!

We highly recommend the school! Our daughter is excited to go every day and truly enjoys the friendships she’s made. We’ve seen wonderful progress in her development, and it’s been so helpful having the staff keep us informed and on track with her milestones. With this being our first child Goddard has not only facilitated in her growth but has helped us along the way. The best part is that they get the kids potty trained and tell you exactly what to do. We absolutely love her teachers and feel so grateful for the care and support she receives here.

We have loved our experience at Goddard Somersett, and are so sad our five year old is nearing his last months prior to leaving for Kindergarten! Our experience in every classroom has been incredible, but specifically in Lime Green (pre-K), Miss Violetta has been an amazing influence. As we near kinder, the activities in class are very clearly prepping kids for learning in larger settings and with structured curriculum. Recent activities include addition using building blocks to visualize the numbers and total, one-on-one reading of "early reader" books which my child brings home and is excited to show his progress on, and building hypotheses prior to doing classroom experiments to understand the scientific method. They really go above and beyond to build an early foundation for elementary school and we're so thankful we have the support above and beyond just somewhere our child is safe through our workday. Additionally - Miss Violetta is incredibly encouraging, supportive, and ALWAYS has something positive and uplifting to say about my son's day. Despite challenging phases and behaviors with this age, I really cannot say enough how much we appreciate her ability to always encourage both parents and students. :)

The Goddard team is exceptional. They deeply care for the growth of each child. They love what they do, are extremely communicative, and have helped our little one grow more than words can express. They’ve become our family-we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! Thank you to the amazing Goddard team!

The teachers at this daycare are truly exceptional. Denise, the owner, genuinely values parents' opinions and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of both parents and their children. I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my daughter receives here.
