The Growing Place Preschool

I cannot express how thrilled I have been with this pre-school. After 10 years of going to The Growing Place our 3 daughters were blessed to of had such an amazing experience there. From the moment we walked in the warm atmosphere put my girls at ease each and every time. The teachers are exceptional, patient, creative, and truly invested in each child. The school was clean, safe, and stimulating to my littles. It was a great foundation for my children's education.

We loved the growing place. We attended there for two years and my son grew so much in that time. It was the perfect preschool experience, and we will cherish the memories made forever. Now we are ready to tackle kindergarten. A big shout out to Mrs. Whitney and Ms. Schemenaur as well as all the staff at this wonderful school.

Both of my children attended The Growing Place for 3 years each. My youngest just graduated VPK there this past May. It is a wonderful, warm and supportive preschool. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

This was my son's first school experience. He struggled a bit with separation anxiety and his teachers were kind, warm and loving. He made great friends and grew in leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and academically. The administration is actively involved with family inclusive activities like trike-a-thon and group activities like bible bear. They welcome each child every morning so everyone feels important. I can't recommend this place enough.

If you want for your child to start off their educational career hating school, I highly recommend this school to you. Their teachers and administration act as if they have never worked with young children. Colleen Lastowski and Stephanie Strelcheck are both extremely condescending when they talk to parents. I firmly believe Colleen Lastowski and Stephanie Strelcheck both caused emotional damage to our son. They were verbally abusive to our son and our three year old would say “I’m a bad kid” and be very quiet and sad after having interactions with these two women. They were both extremely unprofessional and aggressive towards my wife. We felt like The Growing Place was a very unsafe place for our son. I should have NEVER trusted these two women with our son. As long as these two women are running this school, it will most certainly go down hill. While it is a cheap school, nothing is worth what we went through!
