The Happy Kiddos Daycare Center

Our daughter attended Happy Kiddos from age 1.5 to almost 2.5. We were so sad to end our time at Happy Kiddos recently due to moving too far away. We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of Alba’s daycare and found that our daughter did not get sick as often as with her prior daycare (and also came home with far fewer stains in her clothes, which was a nice bonus lol). We were also super happy with the healthier food Alba serves the kiddos and with the variety of crafts and activities she does with them, including plenty of music and dancing, and also learning (our daughter learned to count to 10 and beyond, as just one example). Alba even threw a cute little Easter party and invited the parents to show up early to surprise the kids. Our daughter loved going to “school,” so much so that sometimes it was hard to get her to leave! We also appreciated the bilingual aspect of this daycare and that our daughter was learning some Spanish.

We love Happy Kiddos! We've sent both of our daughters here, Alba is an amazing caretaker and we're lucky to have found her. She has a big indoor play area and a nice outdoor space as well. She sends us pics of the kids throughout the day and they do a variety of activities, including bringing home a piece of art every day. Our kiddos have always had fun here and made great friends along the way. Alba is also super available, open all days of the year except federal holidays, and even on some holidays she offers to watch the kids for a fee, which we've appreciated many times. Her rates are also extremely competitive, so we highly recommend her to everyone including all our friends.

Our daughter attended Happy Kiddos Daycare for over a year, and she loved it! She was always happy to go to "school" in the morning, and she developed a strong bond with Alba, the owner. She also made friends with the other kids, and we will continue doing play dates with those families even after our daughter transitions to formal preschool next month. A special strength of Happy Kiddos is that it is bilingual in Spanish and English. Our family speaks both languages at home, and it was great to see our daughter's bilingual skills progress at daycare as well.

After exploring various options for our son's care, we chose Alba and her team because they were willing to welcome our son despite his delayed growth (he was later diagnosed with autism). The cost was also reasonable compared to other daycares, which was important to us. Our son spent almost a year in Alba's care, and it was a great support for us. He was well taken care of in a safe, clean environment and engaged in various daily activities. The food provided was healthy and prepared with organic products. He felt comfortable and happy throughout his stay. Alba and her team treated all the children with love, respect, patience, and dedication. It was a wonderful experience and greatly helped our son transition to his current school.

Our daughter was taken care by Alba, the owner since she was 1 year old. (she's now 5) Our daughter loves her! Alba is a very warm and caring person. She's easy going and has heart for the job. She loves kids and the most important is that the kids seem to love her, too! As a parent, I love that she sends me pictures or movies of the day so that I know she's happy and ok and it makes me smile at work! The food that Alba makes is healthy and well plan for the whole month so that you know what your kid is going to be eating for that day of the month. Same with the craft activities. Alba has craft and activities plan monthly. Our daughter left for preschool but we still drop her off with Alba on the days our preschool is closed.
