The Honeybee Home and family are so special! We are incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our girl to thrive. The play time, focus on nature, art and independence, loving and patient teachers, amazing environment inside and out, willingness to get outside rain or shine and get messy, organic diverse home made meals, zero screen time, this place seriously sets the bar in child care. Our mindset shifted from feeling sad our girl had to go to day care to feeling like we would do just about anything to keep her in this amazing enriching environment. The growth and development, fun, and creativity she gets here is truly a privilege to be able to provide her. Honey's unique home is unparalleled, and with a heart of gold, she's not even comparable to her peers in town.
Check out the hand-made Mothers Day gifts the kids made: wild flower seed paper, dandelion jam made from hand-picked flowers, and epson salts with dried lavender and rose! 🥰

WE THE LOVE HONEYBEE HOME! We were so lucky to snag a spot here. I tell all my local friends to get on their waitlist - it's worth waiting for. I love that the meals are homemade and nutritious and include ingredients from their garden. My son started when he was 1 and he's now almost 2. He holds my hand and listens to me when we walk down the sidewalk together since starting school and I think it's because they take the kids on walks to the park and they learn to listen and hold hands. I can tell he is well cared for. I also got the chance to speak to the existing families and neighbors when we first visited and everyone had such great things to say about Honey (the owner) and her program. I still can't believe my kid gets to go to a school with bunnies and chickens in the city and is learning about urban homesteading. Truly this school is such a gem and Honey's philosophy is all about respecting children and their growing sense of autonomy - I wholeheartedly recommend the Honeybee Home!

We are so grateful we found this daycare when we did. Last year we had to switch daycare’s unexpectedly. I stumbled on this daycare in a mom group and reached out right away. We did a tour and it just felt right. My kids enjoy their time there. They have a nice balance of learning and having the ability to just be kids and play. Some of the learning they do is through play which is an added bonus for them. The curriculum is well thought out, planned and executed. I have recommended this place to many people and will continue to recommend it even when my kids have moved on.

Teacher Honey, who runs Honeybee, provides an extraordinary experience to these kiddos. Lessons are thoughtfully created and communicated to the parents. All of the food is homemade and includes foods from around the world. Rain or shine, they go outside for walks and to explore every day. My son is thriving. His language is exceptional. They helped potty-train him. Definitely one of the best in-home daycares you can find. Worth the cost.

This is the first daycare we ever used as new parents. I can' t recommend them highly enough. Honey and Mireya have been wonderful. We know our daughter is safe, happy, clean, fed, learning, playing and thriving here. Since attending "school" her vocabulary and social skills have blossomed. We are super impressed by the mud kitchen, chickens, and emphasis on nature. Honey's art projects, sensory boxes, and monthly themes have even given us some good ideas for what to do at home as a family on a rainy day.
